And Khabib did seem to gas a bit compared to usual (given he has pretty relentless pace combined with notoriously good cardio) and it was the next round Conor stuffed all his takedowns, out-struck him and took the round, so again, although worded pretty weirdly in the moment, Cruz was on to something between rounds 2 and 3.
