I never would have thought about the Requiem stuff being incorporated but it makes perfect sense in Unchained. It's good to note as well the time aspect.

@@snoway3780 It's good going second as well since Machinex on top of Requiem is a pop and then you can go into battle and summon Zeus which is a board wipe.

Wait so you guys are telling me a 1 card combo is actually good when your opponent draws 0 hand traps? Damn that’s some next level Yugioh that I never even thought of! Thanks for the secret spice! Also I know when I’m playing a 1 card combo card that’s so good I side it out going second! I’m def siding out cards like Circular, Black Metal/Seyfert, Connector/Ogier in their respective decks cuz they’re just too good for going second!

Is Unchained really that good? It feels more like its good current cause most of the people dont know/understand what the cards does
It's very strong currently. Some amount of that is the meta itself, but the deck is just overall very good. Normal removal is bad against it because they trigger when destroyed, and there are a lot of ways for it to extend

game 1 2 missplays...
first one is rakea getting summon through yama and leaves the field in resolve so the ruling should be that rakea effect shouldnt trigger and the second one is pak was using yma eff to search looked first in the deck and after that grayv he has to ad a card from deck thats like forebidden knowledge or am i wrong ?
both are wrong , rakea can be summon and destroyed by yama and still get the effect. you can look through deck then add from gy instead you just shuffle when done

@11:05 in g1 watching it live i'm sure Jesse remembers Escape is set by Sarama in the middle so i would have Booked Shyama to bait a potential pop of Escape there. But even if that didn't matter on the next chain i would have revived Gryphon in the middle again and pop the set Escape, then summon Abo from deck to destroy their Yama in order to devalue any potential comeback from Rakea's float. In this case THE DOGGO just won the game.

It wasn’t summoned that turn, you can change the battle position by game mechanic once per turn unless it was summoned that turn

@@TheDBGrinder it's both Konami and the players fault. Do the players choose to play the cards or not? I'll answer that for you, they do and because the players choose to play the cards, they then create a toxic and degrading game. Konami prints the cards yes, but ultimately the players are the ones choosing to play the cards because konami doesn't force players to play them, they just give them the bait and they bite. If players actually had integrity and chose not to play those cards then the game wouldn't be as degenerate as it is now with cards like Calamity, Gryphon, etc... The reality is this, players will gladly give up integrity for a simple win in a card game that doesn't give cash prizing. It's pathetic. If this game paid out money like Pokémon and other TCG's then I'd at least understand playing like a pussy, but for this game, nah that ain't it.
