I'm a die hard Daft Punk fan ever since I was young. Overwerk sits right up there with the 'greats'. The sonic quality and precision; the effort and time put into each song is "felt" through every sound. Music you can "feel" is something never forgotten. Don't ever give up. ❤️

Finding this out on accident was amazing!

Same here. Luckily I'm off today, so I cranked this album to 11 on my new Sony 5.1 surround sound. The bass alone trembled my router, desk lamp and multiple game cases of the shelfs🤣 even my Lego Jedi fighter got vibrated off and broke into pieces, not even mad at all. Love his work, one of the very few artists that I actually follow and legitimately support

Why so salty you two? To each their own 🙃 the things we have in common is that we all love some or all parts of Overwerk. ❤️
So as always I‘m going to write down my thoughts on the album:
VESSEL felt very dark, mysterious and dramatic with it‘s abstract and sharp sounds (especially PARALLEL, GEIST and RESONATE) with a heavy bassline.
I liked it very, very much and I think this new style is very refreshing while still sounding like older projects (Canon, After hours...) to make it remarkable as an OW project.
I also feel like this is an homage to Daft Punk and their split (especially this track)
All in all a worthy second album and definitely competing with STATE in my opinion. 8 Tracks is just enough for it to be diversified without having some tracks sound to similar. I also love the dark theme going on (also reminded me a bit if Cyberpunk)!
As always, thanks for your music OVERWERK, after all these years & projects you never fail to amaze!

Listened to the whole album. Some tracks are absolute jewels to me, and even the tracks i liked a bit less, i can still recognize the high quality of production put into them. Electronic music at it's finest, congratulation,you might not make millions of views but your work is truly appreciated.

I know this album is going to grow on me, as "State" has, which at first I didn't like at all and am now in love with. So far this and "Resonate" are my favorites, with "Resonate" being the only one, I've had an eargasm with so far, similar to the older works where I had screaming ones. I think the reason is that "Resonate" has more of a classic structure with a nice drop. But as I said, I'm convinced this album will grow on me. A normal brain can't process that much quality at once...
resonate has a very similar structure to what i would call a 'classic' OVERWERK song. it seems to be just more reminiscent of his style than any of the other songs in VESSEL
This album has some great masterpieces which are as amazing as Virtue 💖

If you're lookin for creativity, I definitely urge you to check out alon mor & ekcle. They're two (well, three since ekcle is a duo) of the most remarkable and creative musical artists i have ever come across

so... my opinion about this album so far:
parallel, geist, presence and bridge are awesome.
resonate, beyond and pictures are really good. pictures is a little weird to me, I dont really expect that much vocals in overwerks stuff, but its really well done and I liked it.
Sense.... well I'm not liking it, but I also dont usually like rap music. but I'm sure I'd like an instrumental version, if that would exist.
overall pretty good stuff, thinking about getting the album just for the first three and bridge.
Why is your bandcamp not linked in the description? as far as I can tell, thats the only place where one could get .flac's.
Is it official, and if yes, will the .flacs actually give me higher bitrate?
