I'm really considering buying these, I do tik tok videos and Instagram reels and I'm looking to do some podcasting and CZcams videos as well so these sound very good to my ears!

the comica Vimo-s is good it has volume control, the only thing is you have to choose between android or iOS version.
Great review, the noise reduction is not that bad, in a couple of years it will no doubt be flawless. I love the form factor of it, if this had the same capabilities of say the AVX range then this would be a game changer for me at events and putting a mic on the subject. To be able to just clip it on to a woman's dress say would be very helpful.

Nice review. I do interviews of friends and family - very amateur - So I'm having a hard time justifying the DJI or rode mics. This might be just what I need.

Can it record stereo on iphone and android?
The stereo recording is two seperate left and right sound clips or combine into one?
Is there any volume limits control for recording in loud music pub to prevent to sound burst?

thanks mate. i wasn't getting the noise reduction part, as i didn't know why one mic had a green light, while the other had a blue. I get it now :). iit'sa good little kit. I had the ulanzi j12, but once i updated my iphone 14, the ulanzi stopped working.

After recorded did you increase volume in video editor or not ? While I record by iPhone + use this mic I would speak louder for normal volume in video
Can it be used in insta 360X2 ?
They need to get rid of the logo on the front of it, same with DJI ones. If you are doing an interview the last thing you want to see if a fkn logo

Hi. Nice review. Can you do me a favor and asnwer me this question. If I connect this mic to Android. Will it take over all apps audio input. Or only works in few apps. For me can you test it with Streamlabs and Streamelements and see if audio comes from mic or mobile's mic input. Do share asap. Thank you.

Since you haven't gotten a reply: yes you can. Just remember to not have the receiver be too far from the mics. Some people tend to overlook that when they're mic-ing other people
Could this be connected to a XLR connection somehow to be used with a PA system (graphic equaliser and amplifier setup)? Any thoughts please...
Yes, you would just need a 3.5mm input into your PA system (most likely through the audio interface/sound desk your using with the PA). Hope that helps!
Does it compatible with DJI Osmo Action 4? I want to use this for motovlog.
It works fine with Osmo Action 4. 🤷♂
Just have to ask, but can I use this for calls for both phone and laptop? In general I've been having a hard time with trying to communicate in calls since the microphones in my phone and my external mic in my laptop are both lackluster.
As long as the service you're using allows you to choose your mic input it should work! I don't know that it would work in the native phone call app on most phones, but on other services like Zoom where you can select your input it should work.

Can I connect a lav mic to the transmitter?
Unfortunately not on this model.
How do you manage to eliminate that terrible bass from any recording that isn't with the transmiter handheld. Wherever I place it anywhere on my body I get a horrible bass humming that just makes the recording unusable - like I'm talking in a can effect.
Thanks for the video. Weirdly this doesn’t seem to sound as good as the v20 which is far cheaper.
A couple Of points of feedback. Testing a lav mic should be worn, not held in front of- even for background noise. Your camera has a hotshoe not a cold shoe - cold shoe can’t run powered / interactive accessories.

Is it connectable with android phones because it doesn't have android port
If your android has USB C then it will work!
The only “minus” that I see is that:
When you record on ur phone, and want immediately check your recording - u have to switch off your receiver, becuz the iOS (iPhone 15 Pro) recognizes the boyalink as HEADPHONES…🤦♂️ and so - u will not hear any sound until u switch the receiver off… that’s really annoying
