Taiwanese vender wearing gloves and masks regularly due to SARS since 2003. After that, we people here treated those who wear masks to prep food as a good quality symbol, which makes people want to come more.

Sorry to toot your horns but, Gold does nothing to the taste but just presentation and not much of a difference for texture. Not sure about the rose. Probably just decoration.

What does this taste like?
What is that dough made of??? Is that what is in the black tar looking stuff......what does it taste like?
The dough is made from tapioca flour which becomes bubbles in bubble milk tea. I think for this one they add brown sugar that's why the color is light brown. Bubble is chewy and can be a bit sweet.
Well, that dough is the pearls you see in your milk tea. Some people either choose to make their own or buy premade ones.

I think maybe the bubbles are soaking in a concentrated tea and sugar syrup?would explain why they only add milk to it.
