    I picked up my Oak Green Metalic Turbo Levo Comp at the end of August after a 3 1/2 month wait. It's an amazing bike and it has far exceeded my expectations! At 62 years young it has been a game changer for me. I have ridden places that I would have had zero chance on my Stumpjumper! Worth the wait and the $!!

    I just got my 3. Levo. First I had the Comp 16 (which I sold now), then I still have the Expert 19 in the French Alps (where I spend a lot of time) and I just got the Comp 21 in Norway (where I live). First I thought it was hard to say what really was the difference between the 19 and 21 model, but this video just ‘put the right word on it’. It really feels more nimble and easy to ride. I love my bike(s) so much. Thank you Specialized 🤩

    Thanks a lot for this review - just got one of these from a friend - brand new - as he bought the S-Works soon after - I've been away from cycling around 12 years - used to ride a lot of local loops & we'd have trips & weekends at Afan Valley bike park - Using the Levo for a shortish, off road commute at the moment & been riding it for a week - but kind of blown away! - my friend has a fat tire ebike with a throttle, that is real fun to ride - but this bike feels so organic & so smooth - & surprisingly light for what it is - love it!

      Hey Bryan, that's mostly due to the difference between the two forks. You could still get some solid bike park riding done with the Turbo Levo Comp, but the Performance Elite on the Expert Carbon would be better suited just because it's better suspension.

    I had the lights on my display flash blue and red on the first and third bar on my 2021 Levo . Happened three times .Turning it on and off fixed it.
    The bike shop contacted Specialized after a few days they said that they had this happen on other bikes and they would change the big wire connecting the battery and motor . No time just when ever they could find a cable .
    I also contacted Specialized they wrote back and apologized and asked for the serial number ,which I had already gave them and said they would check into it . I sent them a video of the lights flashings. I haven't heard back and that was about a week ago.
    I considered buying a direct to consumer bike but instead decide to buy from a local bike shop to support local business and for the service . .But they don't seem to to concerned or in any hurry to fix it .

    • @FlyRidesUSA
      @FlyRidesUSA  Před 3 lety +1

      There's a lot of talk surrounding internally geared hubs on eMTBs right now. I do think we're going to see more of it in 2021 and especially 2022. Old school MTB riders are probably going to hate it, but in the end there is a demand for it. I think derailleurs are still here to stay too though.

    Great bike. Just...great. Have had problems with Brose, in the past. Especially the warranty. And Specialized, has lost their way with passionate bikers, catering more towards the shameful rich. Really? Over $10K for an electric bike? It's insane & stupid. And many Specialized bikes are simply over-priced for the component packages offered. I went cheap, & purchased an Apache Quruk 625. Has very reliable Suntour components, and Deore 12 speed. Perfect for trails and singletrack riding (not being overly abusive). Best yet...at a convenient $3500 U.S. dollars, it's not a out-of-solar system price for a bike. After all, what you're paying for is the brand names: Specialized & Brose. Nothing spectacular about the bike compared to other, less pricey brands.

      Hector typically rides a Medium frame at 5'10" which is what this was. That said, the Turbo Levos do run a bit smaller than a lot of other bikes, so it might be a good idea to check Specialized sizing charts to confirm sizing.
