The Patria PATRIA CT-CV 105HP in War Thunder is a Finnish Tank for the Swedish Tech Tree. This is the top reward for Summer Extreme and it's a VERY good one at that.
With a top speed of 100kph and a 5 second autoloader that can fire APFSDS DM33 and ATGM's with no penalty to the reload speed, this thing is absolutely insane!
The speed and quick reload make short work of enemy teams on flanks and it allows you to traverse large maps and harass the opponent very early into the game. This is a superb light tank and you really shouldn't miss out on it.
This is a solid 8.9/10 Tank!

Note with the Patria. Saw this on reddit. If you put the vehicle in CC2 you wont lose the stab but you will hit 70 kph and be fully stable

I really wish Gaijin gave event vehicles better multipliers for sl and rp because as it stands, they are just extremely tedious to acquire TT vehicles with no benefits at all.
They are always OP/undertiered on release to trick people into selling their soul for the event and then "fixed" and left to rot because they dont make gaijin any money.

Since it's basically a CV90105 on wheels, nerfing the CTCV would also end up nerfing a premium, which i suspect makes them a decent amount of money.

Finnish battle taxis are truly the best in the world. makes me happy seeing the UN and alot of other countries using them. They can even cross deep waters since they float!

This tank’s modules are super detailed which makes it more vulnerable to post pen damage.
I honestly wouldn’t mind it if this was applied to every tank so other tanks get more realistic and dont have small hitboxes

Today I literally had games where it was me in my Merk and Magach and the rest of the team was this thing. Like 10+ of the same, running around, and me in the background trying to catch up lol
I got the LAV-AD last night and the huge influx of people playing light tanks like the Patria is doing wonders for my stock grind
Got a bmd-4 from the ice cream things (blew my mind) and these definitely help the grind rn. Though once the good players get it and get it spaded it's going to be scary.
I like LAV-AD but I wish Gaijin didn't nerf it's AP rounds

If you want to be a cheeky bastard. Drive carefully to the bad guy side of the map and hide. You get a great field of view of their helicopter bases and jet spawns. Most pilots just assume it's their own SPAA radar pinging them until you send them a stinger.

by the looks of things nobody is gonna want the su-25 and from using it I don't think anyone will care for the missiles it gets either when everything you play against is an uptier. Only way it's viable is as a ground pounder

@@HadleeHalide Meh there's more useless and dumb things for high prices on the marketplace. You could say the same about the Moderna which I have. It's 200 GJN and just a top tier T-72 with normal BMP rounds, which frankly aren't that good.

There’s a twin barrel 150mm mortar artillery version with direct fire capability so I hope that one comes too. It’s basically a Swedish AMOS turret on a patria chassis. Though I would be fine if they ad the AMOS on the CV90 chassis but the wheeled version looks like it will be pretty fun.

Fun fact, The turret for this Patria is also used in the South Korean K21 IFV
@@steakinbacon8593AMOS is a collaboration between Finland and Sweden, which I think eventually the finns finished as the swedes dropped out of the project to create the Mjölner system as it was cheaper. The finns then decided to make the NEMO, which is a lighter and cheaper one barreled version of the AMOS

you are only capping because the spawn campers allow you to do so, otherwise you wouldnt be capping because it would also be contested by enemies

After some analysis I've managed to distill Odd's keys to success into the following 5 points...
1. Know the map
2. Know the vehicles (yours and theirs)
3. Use your mini map
4. Never use smoke (of course this is the video he decides to smoke multiple times )
5. Assume you're going to die every 2 minutes even if there is no one around you. :)
You forgot the most important ones: have superhuman hearing and reflexes and somehow always guess exactly where the enemy is.

Slight correction to the name. The company that made this vehicle is called Patria. The modular vehicle base by itself is called AMV.

love the AMV as a platform especially with the AMOS mortar system. although it is basically just a battle taxi on its own the modularity and ability to fit so many different turret configurations makes it cool. looks cool as well. I don´t think anyone has the ct-cv variant in active service tho.
I'd like to see you play the Italian P40, give us a good showcase of it's APHE and HEAT rounds as they are both needed to make that vehicle work.
I remember back during the export order event grinding the leo2k pt/16 and selling it for 40gaijincoin, i wont make that mistake again, im keeping this beast
In Sweden tree, I've only unlocked to 7.0, so getting this at 10.0 will help me research the rest of the tree. Just going through to spade it will be frustrating against all the T-72's and variants that are already unlocked. Glad the first dart is a fast research and like you said, -10 elevation does help.

@@Tylran Nope, I play until I cannot spawn anymore, then sit in the game lobby and watch how the match goes. At higher levels, this is usually faster because one team usually crushes the other.
just a piece of trivia but Finland does have an integrated brigade that consists of equipment and members from both sweden and finland ... we are currently working on building 3 more integrated brigades so even though its a finnish design it makes real life sense that it could be in the swedish tech tree... anyways just fyi - we began operating together publicly in cold response 22 in norway in case you want to look into it

the armour the fornt is actually layered like the puma and marder have it only shows the top 10 mm. it has almost 180 mm against apds from a bmp 2

True, you can predict whether your team will win by just looking at the map in 2-3 minutes. Everyone in a herd storming single point is like 99% defeat, no AA at the start also leads to defeat really often.

For A32A bring only 2x 600kg, a chaff pod and the rest just load up as far as it goes with unguided rockets, even like 4 can serve as diy flares and save you from 2 or 3 missiles, and, it's quite fun to smack light vehicles with rockets.

Some of the worst gunhandling on a tracked light tank I've ever experienced, makes the M41 feel stabilised. I hated the T92.

3:05 it os NOT only 10 mm! Disable "Show External Armor" & you will see that it has in fact additional 10mm of armor ALL around the vehicles hull. That makes it 50 .Cal prove.

IS-7 is fine, nowhere near as strong as IS-6 or even IS-3, the matchmaking between 6.7 and 7.7 is blursed right now...

Day 3: Play with good ol’ Germany Me 410 A-1/U4 it’s the Grandpa of the Me 262 A-1/U4 and it’s a 3.0/3.3 aircraft with 50mm barrel on it with 12.7mm it’s a very good vehicle to play on and dominate the tanks you can play it on 5.7 but whatever you like and I wish to see you play it ❤
