I'm glad that other people are willing to do this and record it because I would never go to a bug infested place like this. Thanks for sharing and stay safe!
Yessss!!! I live vicariously through the hard work of others. 😁
😂😂😂😂
I don't speak Portuguese and also can barely afford to go there.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider vibes. Well done Lexi !
What an adventure! It would be really cool to go canoeing out on the lake in the rain! It's neat to see all the interesting creatures which live out in the rainforest! I really enjoyed this one, Lexie!
Are you planning to go?
I explored the Amazon in Peru in October, but from Iquitos (north of the country). Gives me so much joy to see your adventure, which is a bit similar to mine and closed to the strong emotions I've felt.
Visiting the Amazon rainforest on the Brazilian side some years ago was one of the most unforgettable and gratifying experiences in my life. Your video reminded me of that experience. Thank you for sharing!
Mam India come and I visit dudwa jungle and ahroroa jungle sonbhadra Uttar Pradesh India
Saya dari INDONESIA sangat penasaran dan mengagumi kekayaan hutam amazon.
I want to try. Did you fly into Manuas? How did you organize it? Which boat/company? Did you sleep in hammocks? Did you sleep/eat well aboard? Cost? 😬
@@sleepnomore6065 It has been quite a while so the prices back then cannot be compared to today's but prices in Brazil are quite affordable. I slept in cabin-rooms, each scattered across an area in the jungle.
The easiest way to get there is by plane to Manaus, as there is no other way to that city except by plane or boat but the latter takes ages. However, to get to the jungle, you inevitably need to get there by boat.
I made a list of places I wanted to visit and had an agency plan and book everything. It also included the Pantanal.
It is worth the adventure.
Super episode. This feels like it could be on Travel Channel! Great work, Lexie!

As always Lexi your video of your Amazon adventure was so inspiring. Way to go to show us just a little bit of the amazing flora & fauna of that incredible area. Absolutely loved it!
Bullshit you do not even go deep inside waste of time
Hey Lexie ! It was such a calming video with serene beauty of The Amazon. I just eagerly look forward to watch forward your videos. Keep going and keep motivating.
Excellent video! I love how you are always enthusiastic and positive about new experiences.
Watching this video reminded me so much of my adventure in the Brazilian Amazon 6 years ago.
Thanks for your adventure in the Amazon. My fifth grade science students loved it. We are studying biomes and currently the rainforest. They loved how you freaked out over the spider. The boys loved how you went fishing and caught piranha.
Great job.
Hey Lexie! This was I think one of your best videos! As I was watching, it felt like I was there too! Keep up the good work! 😊❤
Looks like an amazing experience lovely Lexie, thanks for showing us!!! 💖
Your journey into the heart of the Amazon rainforest was a feat of both physical and spiritual endurance. As I watched your video, I was transported to a world of lush greenery and teeming wildlife, where every step is a battle against the elements and the unknown.
Your determination and courage in exploring this ancient and sacred land left me in awe.
You have captured the beauty and danger of the rainforest in equal measure, and brought it to life for all to see.
Your video is not just a record of your adventures, but a tribute to the power and majesty of nature itself. May your journey inspire others to seek out their own paths into the unknown, and to discover the hidden treasures that lie within.
Thank you! 👍💙
Wtf are you on lmao she paid for the best hotel and guides to push her around. A grandma could do this “adventure “
dude, she stayed at a suite for tourists at the edge of the jungle and had a private jungle chauffeur! haha
lmao@@neepers
Thank you Lexie, this video brought back so many memories! I visited the Amazon rainforest back in December 2019 with my father. From the moment we breathed in the hot and humid air when we landed in Puerto Maldonaldo, taking a boat ride on river Madre de Dios, exploring the canopy walk searching for monkeys, to those peaceful afternoons in our lodge in the rainforest! I spent hours in my hammock just listening to the sounds of wildlife while getting eaten alive by the mosquitoes 😅 We ended up doing very similar activities. I was so terrified of the night walk, but it became one of my favourite memories, spotting tarantulas, fire ants and giant snails. The locals there are so kind and in tune with nature, I completely agree with what you said in the video. There's so much to learn from each other! Visiting Lake Sandoval was another highlight of our trip. Did you manage to spot otters and caimans there?
What was the average cost per personal for your trip? Actually I’m planning a trip to amazon with my parents in December! Your help would be😍😍
@@crickettoday9891 I'm excited for you! 🤗 We spent 2 weeks in Peru, visiting Lima, Huacachina, Ica, Ballestas Islands, Cusco, Macchu Picchu, The Rainbow Mountain, Puno and Lake Titicaca before flying to Puerto Maldonado. We hired a car and also had domestic flights within the country. We went on a few tours and ate out once per day and bought food in shops for the rest of the time.
There are all inclusive rainforest lodges near Puerto Maldonado that include the tours as well. If you'd ljke to save money, I'd go with one of those options (always make sure to tip the tour guides though if they provided a great experience - I'm sure they will do :))
For everything altogether it worked out £2000/person, this includes our return flights for about £650 from the UK.
So it really depends on your location and preferences, I'd estimate anything between £1000-3500 for two weeks.
Let me know if you have any other questions 🇵🇪

Can you please tell me what was the cost for the trip to Amazon??
😍
So magical!! 💚
Wow, you had a very luxurious stay there! My tour company had a smaller boat and common bathrooms including cold showers, but it was a great adventure with a lot of exciting hikes!
You should keep the cold showers, great for your immunesystem and to learn to deal with stress ! Wim The Iceman Hof will preach !
hello, Do you mind sharing the company name?
By far one of the most fun and enjoyable Amazon videos ever!
Insane! Probably the first vlog I’ve seen from the Amazon as well so great idea!
Rewatched this and it's definitely one of my favourites in your travels. I'm in the midst of planning to Vlog in my travels and you keep on inspiring me. Thanks :)
Thank you for the video 🙏
Rainforests are the treasures of our planet. To be in the middle of the jungle is one of the greatest experience.
Can’t wait for the next expedition.

Gracias, Lexie! for the adventure through the Amazon river. Love listening to your calming voice. 😘

Such an amazing feeling when you visit the heart of mother nature and bea a part of it
Hi lexie I really love your vlog, this reminds me of my childhood experience because my village has a river like the Amazon. I live in Indonesia, to be exact, in Central Borneo. Where we have several river areas, one of which is the Kahayan River, which is in my village area, watching your video is like looking back at the times when I explored the Kahayan River. I'm so excited to have had an experience like this.
Si paling kalimantan
This is insane. I’ve wanted to do this since I was a kid and watched a documentary about the Amazon 😍😍
Loved this video Lexie, it brought back a lot of memories and inspired me to go back once again!
Maybe I would've enjoyed to see even more of the the actual rainforest next to you talking about your experiences. For example Henry talking about the details. Maybe that wasn't allowed or isn't your style, take it as an idea, not as a critique. I still loved the vid! keep it up and thanks!
more animals yes and less of a fashion show but still a lovely video
Wow what an experience!! I would be terrified of the tarantula 😂. Loved the flow of the flow too
I'm a morning person but sometimes I don't want to get out of bed, so I can confirm it goes both ways!
Nice aerial drone footage of your boat going down the Amazon
Great video! Quality editing too 👍 that lodge looks amazing. I just discovered your channel and I’m looking forward to watching your other videos.
So cool! It's always been a dream of mine since I was a little kid to travel the Amazon.
This was so cool to see, thank you for making it!
You are the epitome of the whole saying “what’s the point of beauty if you cant use it for good “
You use it honorably. 🙏
amazing !
u r most creative content creator, your drone shots and cinematic shots are mesmerizing!

Hey Lexie, new subscriber here..this is the first video I saw on your channel and I'm loving the content. Not sure if u have already, but u should also try to visit the part of the Amazon extending through Guyana, which happens to be my home country. Would love to perhaps be a part of that vlog experience too, if possible😁
My gosh your life it's such an adventure, I absolutely love following you around the world!
I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm so driven now to explore the Amazon forest myself 😊
Could you do a video on how you went about organising and planning this trip? How do you plan out experiences like this on a budget?
I really love it😍😍😍😍😍
yes. Amazon is a great company. they even have rainforest in Peru
EPIC and awesome. Thank you for sharing your experience in the amazon rainforest Peruvian.
Quality of the Oppo is incredible! I'm looking forward to this! Heading to Puerto Maldonado in august!
OML I WENT HERE….. THIS LAKE IS CALLED LAKE SANDOVAL… IT IS AMAZING AND IM SO HAPPY TO SEE THAT SHE IS GOING SOMEWHERE WHERE I PREVIOUSLY WENT!
I am really feeling jealous as she just showed my dream life
The Amazon Rain Forest in Peru was worth watching with the scary spiders, giant Tarantulas and fishing for and eating a piranha. Lexie I like your comment, “ Something so small that freaks me out so much !” Ha,ha.
Do stay strong and beautiful !
😍🌹
awesome video! We will also go to the amazon rainforest this year but to the colombian side. Keep up the great work! :)
Howdy doo Lexie Wonderful watching your adventures I have a inspiration to do this trip to Peru as well. On top of what you've done here I also wish to visit the ancient Inca stone building sites. Such as Machu Picchu. So my question here is how much did you have to spend for this trip here return. So can get a basic know how to save up for? Keep up the great work you doing all the best Auburn.
This thumbnail is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
So stoked to go to the Colombian amazon next month😍😍
2:28 😂😂 lol I'm dancing here too... I can feel you😂😢
Unfortunately I won't go to those dangerous places but I am happy with the viewing experience
I was in Puerto Maldonado in December. A great place and neat to see all the sights I saw there in this video. I highly recommend Hotel Enai on the river if anyone decides to go there.
Thank you for this inspiring video full of adventure. Looking forward to your next trips.
It's awesome. When i saw that video mind realised that I'm on that jungle . The presentation with your simplicity is mind blowing 💎
Beautiful young girl with the soul of a wise old woman.
vlog is good, new dimension
😃 let us know if you spot any Amazonian lady warriors! 😃😉 Thanks, Adam 😎
dripping with confidence, keep up the good work
Wow! I love this type of adventure 😍
I wish Lexie would've mentioned how indigenous dispossession of the Amazon, through tourist-driven privatization for the purpose of creating profitable lodges like the one she stayed in, contributes to deforestation, harms biodiversity, and results in the death of indigenous people. (of course, other kinds of profit-driven privatization don't help). The discussion about her local guide's expertise about the rainforest would have been a perfect opportunity to open that conversation. The indigenous caretakers of the Amazon have been effectively denied access, to the supposed benefit of a few travelers who can afford gate-kept luxury lodges. In the end that dispossession harms all of us, and is exactly why the "lungs of the world" are now decaying
idk, there's something a little unsettling about watching this amazing, life-changing solo adventure on unceded, stolen indigenous territory -- especially when the theft of this territory has been a death-blow for both indigenous groups and for the environment itself. This story -- of genocide, dispossession and destruction -- runs through the veins of the amazon. it's a disservice to ignore that history, and to treat the forest as simply another "wild adventure" among others -- especially when staying in one of the lodges that was built off of dispossession
While I do agree on some points with you, you are making it out to be the worst thing in the world for a place like this yo have luxury lodges, I am Peruvian, and have been to the Puerto Maldonado a few times and the possitive impact that this types of lodges have on the local economy, incentive for infrastructure upgrades, jobs, etc is big, sadly our local authorities are rotten to the core but they all go through the ministry of the enviroment and do all necessary enviromental impacts, its not like they show up and kill the place, if you want to know what is the real reason for deforestation its not this, its the illegal mining activities funded by drug money all throught Colombia, Peru, and Brasil.
83% da floresta está preservada com vegetação nativa da região, e a Europa de vocês? Preserva quanto?

My Brazil 😎♥️🇧🇷
So enjoyable video!! Thank you for this beautiful content 🥰
Thank you for recording your trip, this was very enjoyable because I would never have been able to go there.
You should possibly be more aware that this is a vlog and not a blog....it seems like most of this vid is of you describing your experience, whereas people watch vlog to SEE the things you're wasting our time describing.
This amazing vlog just popped up CZcams Home screen, in the first instance, I skipped but looked back, however, when I opened the window of this vlog, it was just wow. One of the super amazing vlog I have ever seen. Your speaking power, gesture & posture, narration, expressions, videography everything found perfectly awesome. I am now your new subscriber from the other part of the world called "Pakistan". Stay blessed.
Amazing video! 👏🏽 what a fun trip❤ 🙏🏽
Lexi, you're SO awesome! Love ❤️ your videos!!!!
Amazing video Lexie! Well done
I like this, rain is amazing 🎄 same effect of water park 🏞️
I am from Suriname, north of Brazil and our country is for 95% covered by the Amazone Forrest. Of my 35 years of service, I've been for 10 years with the Special Forces, so for me, the forrest is like a big supermarket.
Loved the Vid!
