      @@dumguyawesome Well, 1st Reason Is That At That Time His Main Was Not The GTS3M But A GTS2M(With MF3RS2M Springs) And The Weilong WR Is Not Exactly The Same, It Has Some Differences Besides The Lack Of Ridges Like It Has Two Springs Instead Of 1 In The GTS3M, The New One Is Stronger Which He Used In The WR, So It Was A Little Bit More Stable And The Reason Why Switched From The GTS3M Was Not Because It Wasn't Good Enough For Him, But Because He Likes To Keep Changing His Mains Often, And The WR Was Different Enough To Be Considered A Different Cube
      And The GTS3M Is A Really Good Cube(Or At Least He Liked It A Lot) So It Was Another GTS3M With A Slightly Different Feel And Performance.

    For my WR M, I use the stock springs, set it in the 4th compressed setting and double up magnets.
    My WR M feels a lot controllable and can easily spam TPS. Personally I like the slightly compact feel on the WR M more than the GTS3M as it gave me a little confidensts when solving, but.... it's still not my main xD

    Ok but putting weight 5 in this thing makes it a 100 times better. Even with the normal springs on 6, it becomes slower and very stable, which makes the weaker magnets a lot more sensible. After using the WRM as my main, the GTS3M felt super blocky with the strong magnets. Also tensioning it helps, do not just tension it for the best possible corner cutting, as long as it can do 45 and the edges pull apart til about the edge of the center base/skirt thing. I hope you experiment with it more, since I honestly believe it's the best overall flagship and super versatile.

    I have a theory about this whole gts3 ridges thing. So last Moyu released the gts3 with ridges, which was disliked by a lot of people, but Moyu being such an old and experienced company I'm pretty sure they'd expect everyone to dislike the ridges. So why did they put on the ridges in the first place? Well I think it is a setup for the WRm. If the gts3 did not exist, then calling a cube without ridges that didn't even have ridges in the first place will not make sense. I think Moyu made the gts3m just o that they can make the WRm, probably to confuse people into thinking it is the world record cube.

    I leave cubing for a year and I come back to all sorts of weird things. I am liking this new spring thing. GANS was releasing the AIR with there special spring system but that was it and magnets were just starting to be used in things. Now everything has magnets and is more expensive. I am not a fan of this. MAgnets are cool and all but I don't feel like every top puzzle needs them. I miss the days of a $20 cube being expensive.

    OK listen if you don't like the ridges but still really want this cube but you won't get it for it's light magnets just take the replacement magnets and drop them in the edges and corners nothing else just put them in it makes the magnets stronger

      @jawrick702 Před 5 lety

      Watch the video! He says he uses the 5th setting on the WR and the tightest possible on the regular GTS3. Also, why don’t you experiment with the spring settings and see which one you like?

    Are the weaker magnets really that much of a hindrance to the WRM? I really dislike the look and feel of the 3M, and for that reason I really like the WRM. Anything I can do to counter the effect of the weaker magnets? Should I even get the WRM?

    • @JPerm
      @JPerm  Před 5 lety

      It's pretty good if you make the magnets stronger. I had tons of magnets lying around so I attached a few to the existing magnets in the edge pieces and it's better. The magnets they give in the box are not enough though.

      J Perm What if I don’t have stronger magnets around? Do I use the stronger springs? Do I go max on the spring tension system? I really don’t want to mess with any magnets yet, especially since this’ll be my first high end cube. Thanks
