They say that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but I seriously appreciate it haha. ENFP here. We’re practically perfect in every way. Now, excuse me while i squeeze this big head out of the door.
I've never heard of sarcasm being the lowest form of wit. It's quite high, as far as I knew. Not everyone is capable of it.

Wow, this is so true. I am now 40 years old and I don't talk about my life, stopped telling my stories, stopped solving their problems. It was tough but I stopped. People like wallowing in self pity, now I just say "wow it sounds like you are going through a lot" " you are a tough person you can make it through this." And I leave it at that. I'm done helping people. Now I lie through my teeth and tell them what they want to hear cause people hate the truth. I stopped giving advice until I'm asked for it...which never happens😅

I'm ENFP and I think often people are jealous of me,there's that girl,my friend actually that always looking at me weirdly and i can see through her like some kind of envy,i don't mean to be arrogant although i think our strenght is that we have good opinion about ourselves in general and many people mistake that for egoism,but then i say something funny and everyone forgets about it😂😂😂

No, the entire video is a joke. I love deadpan humour. It's just about how we are awesome and should take a moment to not take ourselves too seriously
I talked for 10 minutes with the cashier after paying.. Everyone payed and walked off wondering when i was going to shut up, but she was very interested and kept asking questions and giving her opinion, that only made be want to pull up a chair 🤣🤣🤣

During covid i picked up a temp job as a personal assistant/ caregiver for elderly woman. Weakness#4 i got let go of my temp job for being too optimistic and solving clients problems (they were not as big issues as she made them to be). She stated, "i work too hard and don't take enough breaks. And she's tired of me bringing her gifts 🤷🏽♀️ i need to rest and take time off".
When has that ever been a reason to let go of someone. ,(That sent me on an emotional rollercoaster of over analysing myself and caused disappointment for investing so much of myself into this job)

@@iamdefinitelynotaverage it's sad that people can't handle kindness and love, they feel like we're trying to set them up or want something in return. But i take blame for taking this job, she was a lost puppy i was trying to rescue.... She was just used to so much abuse from drug addict daughter, was overwhelmed. She didnt know how to respond to love and instead fought it. I just wanted her not to lose hope in humanity and show her she deserves to be loved and appreciated. But she had dependency to her daughter and all she wanted was her daughter to return home. Long story, won't bore you but thanks for the encouragement!!
Love the irony here 😂 ... But still, I think it can also have a double meaning - like we should use our "weaknesses" because this is what we do best, but in the same time we should be aware to ourselves, not going to extremes or being too much for some people who can't handle our big potential 😅

Nobody does that and they can't understand how we function. We're still aliens in this world.
We might be better than many, but still an outcast unfortunately.
Putting your heart into everything you do became so out of place.
I think the best paths for ENFPs are arts, because that's a field you can invest in without limit and nobody will tell you anything. Maybe that's why we're so drawn to arts. And people. But people don't get us 😔

urgh this got me in the feels! This has been my whole week! Am I the only one who feels dragged into bitter withdrawal when people do this? Tash stop being a know-it-all (I was only trying to share something I found uber interesting and I was bursting to share it with someone thinking that they'd share the same exuberance....er nope), Tash stop trying to fix everything, leave people be (well don't come to me with your problem if you don't want me to help you fix it....unless you commence with the premise....please don't solve, just comfort me while I vent), Tash why are you always so happy all the time (secretly gives the miserable wanker a one fingered salute), Tash why are you showing off (erm I'm just standing at the photocopier surreptitiously dancing to music in my head...that happens to be metal, it ain't the samba sheesh). I feel like I'm surrounded by Hoovers. Yes it has been a very tough week......yes it is Monday.

Hilarious! Feels so relatable. I always fear a bit that there will be a viral video of me dancing while waiting for a train or a bus. 😄 I also used to give Morning disco’s (own choreography to a hit song) at work. I love work places that build upon doing funny things together and that have low hierarchy. I love to work hard and give good service, but I think serving clients is so much more better when the staff feels that they are appreciated and have positive outlook for the day.
You know what? If I stop being all these things..I'm so damn dead...🥴

OMG 🤣 That sounds so familiar. I’m a librarian and sometimes when unemployed, I used to hang around supermarket books department and offer advice on books to read. 😁 When starting in a new job after graduation, I ”harrassed” customers while they were just doing things by themselves in the library and kept checking on them if they needed help every 5 minutes. One of my biggest challenge is also walking on streets and asking if people need help, because they look like they are searching something and they are just playing Pokemon Go. 😂 I try to bite my lip so hard, but I always end up talking to strangers and I get a thrill when everything goes wrong at work etc. I LOVE screaming customers, because it’s so satisfying to work with them (they cannot always get what they wanted, but usually leave satisfied and feeling being heard and taken seriously).
We have many friends, but very few people we truly connect with
I'd be careful of attaching we to this one. I think it's possible to have a lot of deeper friendships and great relationships. I'd like to think I've achieved this in more than one city.

Honestly... all of these are accurate. It is ok to want to brighten other people's day but everyone has the right to be gloomy and dwell in sadness. it is something that we need to accept and take a step back. It is ok to want to show people their potential, but we should not insist that they do something about it. everyone is entitled to their choices, and if they want to spend their life at the bank callcenter and not actualize themselves, so be it. we need to let it go. and about how interesting we are, well it is ok to play it down from time to time.. it's not that we are better than others because we are more adventurous. let's be good listeners and let other people shine.
the only one we can't help is our incredible attractiveness... for that one there is no cure.

Im enfp-t, i used to be all happy and positive and got my energy from,seeing ppl and helping others.. now ive become the opposite and walloving in deep shit considering if its easier to just give up on life.. i get only enjoyment from video games, And those are getting boring too. I have friends but all be busy i their lives and i feel left alone.. im just curious how deep i can get. Being powerless makes me feel drowning

It's because you are hurt. People betrayed you. They didn't have the mind to understand you and just kinda used you. World is like that, I have realised it now. So we need to put a stop to being a people-person all the time and instead focus on ourselves.
After being in a relationship with an enfp I found they were an encouraging person to be around, until they started talking about my potential. Seems like because they are so positive, they have trouble actually seeing where a person is at and trying to encourage them from where they are. Instead they tell them where they could be and its more discouraging to the person. And a lot of times other people won't care if you think they have potential because they won't think you can actually understand where they are at.
That's why some people tend to think we are "too much" :(
@@enfp The positivity train doesn't want to slow down long enough to let passengers get on. As a somewhat meloncholy INTJ it seemed like they found you interesting until they realized they'd have to slow down every now and again to let you catch up.

You know what - this is actually all true! If we take into consideration that most people are in some kind of weird competition with others and that everyone only wants to talk about themselves, an enfp who shows up and starts talking about their adventures sort of "wins" the competion by far.
And this cannot happen, must not happen, this charisma must be squashed, silenced, banished! I have so many stories to tell about this, that I've experienced last year but...I'm gonna be shush unless someone asks me directly to share them. You live an' learn, you live an' learn my friends. 😅
Omggg this made my heart happy. I was feeling cringe over an afternoon where I was so excited I interrupted alot of threw out those " random adventure /hyperfocus stories" while people were talking about work, and returned to talking about work after my outbursts. This helped me feel less dumb.

Hi Dan, i'm sure i'm a depressed ENFP, (mistyped a lot with INTP, INTJ, and INFP) i'm overly anti-social. and i have given up to live a life. y'know. i'm poor i dont have resources to be dreaming about living a life. i don't even get a fucking normal regular job, i was refused at everything so i kinda given up being productive cause everytime i try to be "sucessful", i find more frustration. i kinda accepted that i only have this fucking life and i'll try to live it with their limitations. i'm like a sad clown who love to make people laugh but suffer a lot inside. and the most painfull of these sufferings is feeling incompetent, i'ts normal a dark side ENFP trying so hard being an INTJ only to find that all your effort are vain
