Fun fact: the ladder trail is a trail with huge rocks going up at a steep incline the rocks were actually layed in the ground for women that wanted to hike the trail in their dress's. Bubble is the hike for tourist. There's some amazing hikes in acadia. So happy to call Maine my home. My dog has climed presipus. Climbs the ladders and all lol.

Hope you guys checked out Freeport, Maine. The original LL Bean Store. Another quaint Maine town. That was the halfway point my Jersey friends stayed the night at, The Muddy Rudder, on our way up for our annual New Brunswick Hunting Trip. I can't believe how much of a resemblance there is with Kevin and my former neighbor in Jersey, Kevin Murphy. He was a Port Authority Sergeant A Big Strapping Irish Guy. Taylor, you could be the sister of my Ex. Must be something in the Jersey Coffee, LOL. PS...Here's one for you guys. What is the line everyone who lives in Jersey hears? What Exit are you from??? So Funny. Start selling Huge Coffee Mugs like Taylors for all us coffee drinkers, and have exit signs printed on them to remind your viewers of just how many miles you both have under your feet. I lived off the GSP at exit #131. Get off at Clark, through Westfield and into Mountainside.

Congrats on Year 2! I have a photo of my wife drinking a glass of wine in a Walmart Parking lot in Kansas for our 10 Year Anniversary during our RVLife days. This May is 25 years and we will be in our 2014 Sprinter. If you swing through Taos, NM on the Mountain Collective Pass we could hook you up on local spots. Taos Ski Valley opens mid Dec now. (I'm an Instructor there). Thanks again for all the DIY Videos. My van build would not be nearing completion without them.

This is why I travel in a VAN.
I was looking for vacation rental videos and came across your channel. Love it, you two are so cute together & make the videos fun to watch along with being very helpful RE: hikes, places to visit etc... We have been to Acadia/Mt. Desert Island 5 times since our kids were young. Last visit, it was just me and my husband b/c the kiddos are grown adults now with their own children. We did stay in the Camden area in 2015, loved it but once you've been to Mt. Desert Island,I think it's hard not to go back. After watching your videos, we are making plans to visit Mt. Desert in May... our first trip since COVID hit. We both have been vaccinated so I feel better about going out to eat & just getting on the road again. Of course, we will still bring our masks. A friend of mine and her husband use Walmart parking lots quite a bit when they are in areas they aren't able to find a campground for one night. Keep producing these fun vid's!

Haha thanks Dirk! We’re going to make a video about it hopefully soon. Taylor is a nurse currently working part time and I used to work in IT in Corporate America for 6 years
@@MathersOnTheMap Cool, that’s handy that Taylor is a nurse when you’re travelling. IT means you can literally work from anywhere, you guys have it made. I am a school Guidance Counsellor, so I have 11.5 weeks paid holidays a year, hens why I want a van to travel. Stay safe.
