Amazing progress on your wips. Totally understand about UFO'ing projects. I have one that is driving me bat shit crazy. But I'm going to perserver because I only have 15000 stitches to go. Don't let the the gov't or council win. They want you to give up. Happy stitching 🪡🧵🐈
At the moment that project is put in the cupboard and I may come back to it. I saw a flosstuber when they had decided they would ufo a project they cut it up. I have only ever done that to one project to reuse the fabric. But she cut it into small bits. I had to laugh there was no changing your mind after that. @stitchingaddicted 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I stomped on a wip and chucked it in my cupboard and swore never to touch it again. Forest Spirit Santa that Stitching Big Things with Halle is doing. She warned us! Warned us about the confetti. But I didn't listen. But I didn't cut it up, lol. May one day in another century, I might re start it on a different fabric. Maybe Floba that I bought thanks to you. Might be alright on that. Is Floba good for heavy confetti pieces?. 😁🪡🧵🐈
@occam5123 I haven’t done that much heavy confetti yet. Mostly the bulk stitching is surrounding the confetti. I just find it faster to stitch.

Great stitching. I love seeing the fox coming to life on your HAED SAL. Tania, how many hours does it take for you to stitch 1000 stitches? I feel like I must be the slowest stitcher in the world. Are you worried about running out of thread on Hairy Pawter since you changed from 25 1 over 1 to 18 2 over 1? Do Gecko Rouge kits tell you the number and type of threads they use?
I do about 100 stitches in 30 minutes. Then other days it takes me 2 hours to do 100 stitches. I do find I go faster if I get up and take a break and then sit down again. I don’t stitch past 9 pm. 🕘 I don’t stitch before 10 am. So I stitch about 7 hours at the most. Normally geko rouge patterns you don’t have the dmc numbers but this pattern does have them. I do have the dmc chart so I could have worked out what the colours were but didn’t need too. So I ordered some skeins of the colours that had more than 2,000 stitches and I will use a thread from the pack and a skein I have to blend so I don’t see dye lot issues. The rest I will stitch from my dmc box of left over threads and if I need to buy more threads I will. I have heard that they do give the dmc numbers for some kits. I assume it is for the older kits. Sorry heard someone else on CZcams mention it but I don’t remember who or what kit they were talking about. I was just thinking at the time when I got my kit they made a mistake. Hope that helps.
