Thats why Sweeney is one of my favorite teacher in this serie, cause even if he can be mean, you learn more from someone who actually cares about you.
That kids name is Martin Quirly. If you remember from the project partners episode they called him the “smart and squirrelly” kid. His name is a play on of that.
Smart and squirrelly - Martin Quirly 🤣
22:33 "It was in the Lost and Found."
No, Moze's notebook was in the Lost and Found. This "burn notebook" was found behind a computer desk in the classroom that apparently hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in at least 10 years.
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts I wouldn’t be surprised if moze Wasn’t the first person to throw away the burn notebook and then someone else found it. That’s even how that plot line ends.
@@zacktg8494 I said it before that it’s probably likely that would happen to moze has happened before heck I think there’s an episode on nicknames that even states that there are more than one Jennifer at the school so the idea that that multiple students have found the book and then got rid of it once they find something that proves the book is older is pretty like
Don't worry, the vice principal will be the one who constantly threatens Gordi with firing him if he doesn't do his job 😆
I finally watched it and it will publish soon - absolutely hysterical! 😂😂
This is the episode where I really started to like Mr, Sweeney👍🏼 I'll never forget him dropping down on the wires and catching Ned in the act😂😂
I used these tips in middle school and high school, it really helped me. I tried doing the same mentioned in college but surprisingly, I ended up taking less and less notes. Now, I just audio record my professor's lectures and write down whatever important parts they said. Or they record the class themselves and post it on Zoom.
The re-writing the notes was actually something I did during college! I have pretty messy hand writing so I found it easier to just chicken-scratch in class and clean up my notes later. I usually had messy handwritten notes and either a Quizlet deck or Cornell notes google doc.
1 more episode to go til you reach the vice principal episode. Next is Math, which introduces a new recurring character, a math teacher. Gordy also has his memorable yet crazy moments to look forward to. Always enjoy these reactions, gives me something to look forward to every week. This was always a laugh to watch growing up, especially the part where the mob chases Susie, or the caramel covered apples with nuts to celebrate a job well done
Is it possible that Gordy stealing Mr. Sweeney's caramel-covered apple with nuts and consequently causing Sweeney to spin like crazy in that harness could be considered as another potential firing?!
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Yeah, Gordy did that at the very end of the episode!
A lot of TV shows and movies portray air-vents as big enough to crawl through (Recess also does this). In real life, that's rarely the case and trying to crawl through them would be very dangerous. Though you do raise a good theory about the large air-vents resulting from the walls constantly having to be repaired.
Also, I'm surprised no one accused Cookie of writing the notebook. His real name is Simon Cook.
I’m mildly narcoleptic, and had a really good way of resting my eyes in class. Whenever we were meant to be reading something on our desks, I would interlock my fingers and put them over my eyes like a sunshade, thumbs down either side like blinders. Then I’d just hunch over the book with my elbows supporting my little blinder. From the outside, I appear to be intently focused on the surface of the desk.
Note to kids: don’t do this if you aren’t narcoleptic. I never fell asleep in class, I just couldn’t keep my eyes open.
18:37 - This is such an interesting fact I never would have thought about otherwise! Even though I went to public school for 12 years, the fact teachers were never in the same restrooms never crossed my mind. That's why I love videos like this.
I remember in school, I always liked drawing in my notebook in school, also when I was in detention in highschool I had no choice to draw biology stuff, despite I had no homework to do, but if I didn't do anything in Detention, I would get suspended from highschool, which was messed up
Sweeney may not have the best bedside manner, but he does seem to genuinely have the students' best interest in mind.
I'm also guilty of having bad handwriting that is reflected in my notes, it's usually because whenever I'm taking notes on the lecture, I'm going fast to try to keep up with what the teacher is saying and my writing looks a lot better when I write slowly, so it's also good that we have the material in the books and online resources to help study when the notes are a bit hard to look at.
I also remember one class where I was struggling in, so I tried recording the lectures myself to see if that would help.
There's also times where I would ask a classmate to see their notes, if I needed it.
One of the drawings in neds notebook was that of the nega-chin arch nemesis of the crimson chin a favorite superhero of the child protagonist of the fairly oddparents which as has been discussed already gordys actor was a voice actor in the crimson chin himself was voiced by jay leno
1:29 There actually is a bit of a subplot where Mr. Monroe leaves to go live with penguins later in the show, and my theory is is that this was when the actor who plays him, Jim J Bullock, was being treated for his crystal meth addiction.
Once again it has been a pleasure to watch this classic here with you and to hear your commentary.
Until next time, cheers!
About the teachers using the student bathrooms...I have actually seen them use the student bathrooms before, though it was probably out of desperation. I almost never used a school bathroom willingly. One school I went to had a locked portion inside the student bathroom that I'm assuming led to a teachers/staff only bathroom
All the notebooks in this episode were pads of paper, we weren't allowed to use them as notebooks. It had to be a bound booklet. And there were rules about what color the protective cover had to be. Because of moving, I went to different schools, but three subjects were always the same: math is blue, German is red and English is yellow. A few teachers then collected the notebooks and graded them. From the ninth grade onwards we were allowed to do it as we wanted. From then on most people started using these blocks. But no one left it on the block. The sheet was then removed and filed in a folder. And out of habit we even kept the colors the same.
Another suggestion to respond to: Avatar the Last Airbender. It's not a series where school really plays a role, but in Book 3 Episode 2 Aang goes to a real school. A very funny episode.
Funny thing is that would be a good use of a cellphone in class to record the class if you wanted to but it obviously wouldn’t outweigh the drawbacks
Mr. Sweeney scares me. But Mr. Monroe seems like a pretty cool teacher
3:48 The Nega Chin from The Fairly Oddparents.
And underneath that is Timmy's comic book alter ego: Cleft: Sidekick to the Crimson Chin.
I finally reacted to Fairly Oddparents: TransParents and it will publish soon!
@@SchoolPrincipalReactsoh ho jackpot I’m so ready for this. This episode is CRAZY but pretty funny at the same time
Oh yeah, there is a recurring cutout gag.
In high school my handwriting was so bad I got a disability accommodation to type everything
I like the twist in this one about the mystery notebook, I legit didn't see it coming when I first watched the episode, especially since Suzie was first built up as an antagonist. Not to mention Sweeny straight up Half-Blood Princeing us. The writers of this one must have been feeling really good.
Lets be honest if he applied himself in class like he did with drawing in his notebook he’d probably be an A student
7:27 there's a class at penn st that live streams classes on CZcams the channel is soc 119
I used notebooks a lot in school, used it for writing stories, and to remember stuff
9:31 I’ll Amit i did a few times but I had 1 teacher literally give a tip to all students to “if your going to sleep make it look like your reading the textbook with your hands holding up your head above the book” hehe
If you're excited to see the Vice Principal, wait till you get to the actual Principal at James K Polk middle school!
For me, I have dysgraphia which is a disorder that makes it hard for me to write so I had a scribe take notes. I also had PowerPoint printed out so I could use those notes
Stealing and rumors and notebooks OH MY!
what a great episode with a lot of good humor for the time.
Funny thing is in college I had a smart pen that would record the class.
I would love for you to watch and react to every SAVED BY THE BELL (original series) in this fashion, from the Miss Bliss years all the way to graduation.
As far as the subject of this episode is concerned, I was dreadful with note taking. I am admittedly on the Autism Spectrum and thusly, my learning was difficult and immensely confusing, especially in tougher subjects. I would write down everything the teacher said as fast as I could, barely coming up for air and when I would refer to these notes later, I was left dumbfounded with what I had written down just a few hours prior.
I ultimately asked for my teachers to print off the PowerPoint slides they used to teach us with in class. Even this proved unsuccessful at times when I was completing my home assignments. Looking at my transcripts, I am amazed that I did as well as I did, especially in arithmetic, considering how poor my notetaking was and how difficult it was for me to process and learn information in those subjects.
I have a mild form of autism that makes my handwriting unreadable i had to type everything in school
24:32 well he cool mr Sweeney at least he passed to ned.
Wasn’t the book behind some desk ? Not lost and found
The start of the recurring "going through the vents" gag.
@@SchoolPrincipalReactsYeah, I don't see after this any more tunnel digging so I guess they converted all the tunnels to ducts.
This is one of the first episodes in a while where the characters don’t get messy lol. Great reaction!
10:47 I been inside of there before when I used to work with my dad during the summer as a child. It’s not supposed to be that big.
You don’t want to know how many notebooks I have. My grandmother absolutely refuses to buy me anymore; she goes crazy every time I get another one. I use them to write stories.
Some student from 10 years ago probably left the notebook somewhere really obscure and a janitor or someone only found it recently and put it in the list and found.
I think I speak for a lot of people watching this saying I'm glad your doing every episode of this show and I'm going to enjoy watching each week. With that being said, the Series Finale reaction is going to be amazing. All I'm going to say without spoilers.
When I took Graphic Design it was so fun to draw, I used to draw anime characters lol. Got pretty good but kinda fell off of it. Now that I graduated my adult class for electrician I'm trying to find a now. 😅
In fact I made a video game advertisement for my graphic design class and my instructor at the time would put it on the wall. If you had the best artwork in the class it got to go on the wall as a way to motivate his current students and to motivate future students for open house. Since it was a vocational school the high school students from 5 different schools would visit.
15:51 That's Martin Qwerly he was a part of the video projects episode from last week
De hecho hay un capítulo entero dedicado a los objetos perdidos y encontrados... pero falta para llegar a ese capítulo.
You should react to more i Carly such as I have a love sick teacher or i might switch schools which has more to do with carly switching schools its a funny episode.
Despite his somewhat sadistic personality, Mr. Sweeney, does actually care for his students.
While he intended to 'trick students' he probably would've been right in assuming that Ned wouldn't have been as interested if he'd been direct on the matter.
Yes that’s one of the only times I really like what he did. He’s just a little too harsh. 😂
Esque ver a Sweeney bajar del techo me saco muchas risas... este capítulo es buenísimo.
Do you know if your students have seen your videos? If so, what do they think?
Some have, and some haven’t. I don’t usually talk about it at school. 👍
And yet Suzie still dates Loomer even after he chased her with a pitchfork.
Can you react to Monsters University? Or at least only the school scenes? Unless you want to do the full movie
Me he querido unir al canal y ser miembro pero mi cuenta no me deja 🙄 pero este canal tiene todo mi apoyo.
Cookie recording the class and endup with lots of tapes and lack of space in his locker is just like a student recoding lots of zoom lectures and ending up with lack of computer memory.
Yes! Lol 😂
