how many more times will this show make me cry man...
a lot more
many more times
Yes
just wait for the next 3 arcs
Knowing how easy it is to make you emotional, alot
The part that really hits is when Brook just keeps singing as his friends drop dead one by one 😭
There gonna be a part two with the straw hats nah just kidding
Yeah.. that’s when I noticed I had cried for 5 minutes already without noticing😭
@@gameuniverse5973 welllll... If nothing goes wrong he will probably outlive all the strawhats aswell tho
@@fedezhope7673yeah and imagine after the strawhats find the one piece, and at the end its just only Brook left telling the stories of the Straw Hats pirate tp the kids
@@OK-zt9gn Hopefully by that time, he's with laboon
This is still one of the best One Piece backstories and the first one that REALLY made me cry 😿
Low bounty, was turn into just a mascot, and is now only second saddest back story of the straw hats chopper keep gettings ls

jack, you are by far the most emotional one piece reactor of them all.
never change.
@@WuMyth Unless Jack is a professional actor, he wouldnt be able to fake it like this.
Most reactors knows what gets views, but they are unable to replicate genuine sadness, they just have to hope they actually do end up feeling really sad about what they're seeing.
@@WuMythbro can u just enjoy shit holy ur not any fun
Both he and Ruffsenpai cried like a lot during this arc.
Years later, rewatching reactors react to this backstory, *and I'm down in my own tears too LMAO*
@@WuMythwell yeah? The end of the last episode was the beginning of the flashback - or at least you could sense it was the beginning of a flashback - and he already knew about laboon and that brook was the only one left OFC it’s going to be sad ;-;
@@WuMyth I consider it emotionally healthy to allow yourself to feel emotions when you understand your surroundings. Especially when reading a book or watching a movie, giving in to the emotion presented by the author has been healthy for me at least.
My little brother introduced me to this show. We loved it. He passed from cancer 6 years ago. Every year on his birthday and the anniversary of his death, I play Bink's Sake and remember our time together, crying and smiling.
May He Rest Easy
And May God Bless You 🙏🏾
may he rest in peace. I'm sorry for your loss..
He would have absolutely lost his shit with Gear 5.
Man
He never got to see luffy become pirate king…. damn
I ugly cried so hard first time watching brooks backstory and even now i still got teary eyed watching it again.
Nice solo at the end that was unexpected
Yeah, same here
Same bro❤
The fact you got only teary eyed is impressive in itself
same here, the 2nd, 3rd, every god damn time i watch it
I ugly cry every time I listen to this version of it
One of the saddest backstories in One Piece...
We all love you, Brook and Laboon! ❤️😭
Nah, it's by far the saddest. Law and Robin have lived sad experiences but at least they moved on from it. Brook was basically trapped with his dead family for over 50 years... Even post timeskip he's still horribly depressed...
@@mr.x991 The general horror of being s skeleton and what that is gonna do to his ability to make friends after the strawhat isnt even over.
It's without a doubt the saddest for me
The best one piece reactor. Oda isn’t afraid to make his audience experience human emotions. He knows there is a spectrum of emotions, and knows life is full of them. Such good writing.
Preach!
I agree with every single word.
Oda made us cry over a fucking boat not being able to sail anymore. THAT was top-tier
idk how but Brooks backstory was the first and only time a show made me verbally cry
Robin's and Brook's backstories are heartbreaking
Remember that this show makes u cry over a ship..don't question how it's gonna break your heart when it comes to ppl
Also Law
Don't forget about Chopper
@@rifaldyyusliandi4984 What about my girl Nami she had to work and be nice to the people who murdered her mom for years
So literally everyone 😭
This show made me cry over a 100 foot tall/60 meter (Idk the conversion) giant and his hat
Never forget Oars jr.
Somone:How many times have you cried watching one piece?
Jack:yes
THIS IS THE 27TH TIME I HAVE WATCHED RHIS AND A TEAR WENT DOWN MY EYE AGAIN WHY IS IS SO CONSISTENTLY SAD ITS LIKE INSIDE OUT NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I WATCH IT
Me: No
Not only has he been alone for all these years, he's been alone going more insane everyday while all his friends remains are on the same ship, i think Brook is the one strawhat that has suffered the most because of that fact alone, and he lived just to get to Laboon again 😞
Sanji: :/
It was implied Robin also...had to survive doing some of those... 18+ when she was a little girl
@@TheMaxCloudops i deleted that comment. Thought it would be spoiler even tho sure that Jack wudnt be checking comments within a comment. Still if you got the notiff, then you must have the idea what i was talking about.
@@gameuniverse5973 sanji backstory is horrendous but he had Zeff
Brook was alone on a ship with pretty much what was his family corpses
@@gameuniverse5973 Brook spent 50 years on a ship with the dead bodies of everybody he knew and loved
Brook's backstory is heartbreaking. And it's been decades since he last interacted with people. This confirms to us why he has the mentality that he does now.
why hasn't anybody commented on this?
Of all the backstories of the Straw Hats, the One of Brook was for me the saddest backstory I've ever seen. I couldn't believe that I would cry that moment.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Law's backstory is close second 😭
@@godinside8542law is not a strawhat also saddest was guts backstory
the only ones that are close is Robin and Sanji
Brook and Robin's are the heaviest and most depressing. Law and Sanji are heartbreaking. And Chopper most bittersweet.
Robin's will always be the one that hits hard to me...she literally has no one
"I'll sing for you when the sun rises" this one quote has so many layers. Not just the conversation, not just the main team of Thriller bark arc, but for the global plotline... No wonder Oda wrote Bink's Sake even before One Piece and Romance dawn. In my personal opinion the Thriller bark arc is one big metaphor for One Piece as whole
This is in my humble opinion the saddest backstory of the Straw Hats.
When he says duet and starts to break so do I and then the pain in his voice when he says solo.
The first time I saw this backstory, I ugly cried. Even now, after tens of times, a little still leaks out. It's just that well written. Also, the fact that the Rhumbar pirates took a standard phrase for someone awful "Enough to make a crying child go silent" and turned it into "Who make even crying children laugh", just goes to show you what kind of people they were.
Also, Jack, your emotional reactions have my respect, mad respect. The honesty of 'em is refreshing.
in relation to the beginning of the great pirate era, the rumbar pirates were active 30 years before Roger died. Brook even mentions later on that Roger was an up and coming rookie pirate during his time
It’s crazy when u realize brook illustrated that song and crocus heard it and sang it for roger and roger going around the world spread it around as well as to shanks who sang it for Luffy
I’m not sure if he composed it, I think he just said it was more popular in his time. It reserved with him for sure, since he’s a music icon at this point.
@@theperson8539 yah no I was bsIng for clout I may be right but I also may not be lmao
@@spencer9972 I mean… aight.
@@spencer9972 I like it though
Binks sake is actually the one piece. The song goes back to Joyboy and secretly tells the history of the void century and the plan of the ancient kingdom
Brook's backstory is top 5 saddest one in all of One Piece. 50 years of loneliness on a ghost ship with the last piece of music played by his crew to keep him kinda sane...Luffy just have a crazy ability to found broken toys and lost souls for his crew...
it's top 1 for me
definitely on top for me. i havent cried this hard on a characters backstory my whole life.
"Bink's Brew" evokes a unique mix of emotions for me, giving me goosebumps, as it blends happiness and sadness into one beautiful melody. It's like I'm listening to the joyful souls of the departed, the people of the sea, celebrating their lives with this hauntingly beautiful tune.
THIS MAN REALLY KNOWS HOW TO CRY HIMSELF AND HOW TO MAKE US CRY :(
Man, i was completely destroyed with Brook' s backstory, and then Jack came playing "Mother Sea" in the piano and finished the job
If the Strawhats really follow the log pose, it's definitely going to take about the same 3 years that Rumbar pirates did. It's just that they were on express ever since entering Grandline. Do remember that Little Garden takes 1 year to capture the next island. Thankfully they had eternal pose.
Well also keep in mind nobody has ever travelled the entirety of the grand line until Roger
@@painvillegaming4119 yeap. Roger pirates took decades to travel and went around twice to be precise.
@@painvillegaming4119 How about Noland?
I loved that piano solo at 15:22 of "Mother Sea"!!
I have never cried so much from a show in my life. This backstory of laboon brook and the crew was just perfect. i couldnt handle the last song they played for laboon absolute masterpiece
That piano play at the end of this video was beautiful Jack ❤
I haven't seen all of your videos, but you did an excellent job of expressing your sadness. Huge respect! I like people with big feelings! :D
HELL YEAH I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Literally one of the most heavy hitting episodes ever
I've seen it so many times and I was still weeping alongside him.
jack is so good to watch because he really expresses the emotions very well
Damn, dude; you nearly got me crying all over again when I saw you playing the piano at the end. Thought you were going to try playing Bink's Sake (or Booze, take your pick,) in honor of Brook and Laboon or something. What a nice way to show your love for these characters. And what a surprise too. I had no idea you could play an instrument.
the paino in the last was nice
To this day I think that Brook's backstory is the most painful of them all and the one I was the most invested in
i love the piano bit at the end jack, please keep playing!
This part of the story hits just different when you're a musician watching one piece. Just that extra connection from love of playing music, goes a long way.
Jack really knows his piano, danm, wasn't expecting that ending, good job
Bro this episode makes my cry every time I actually burst out in tears 😭
The last part with the piano was so good!!!
To me, the biggest most emotional bit is that after all that, in the manga, hid next words after the flashback were "I'm so glad to be alive!"
Man I had just watched Bink's sake earlier this morning and of course already cried remembering, and then I watched this video and you made me cry all over again. One Piece is really such a beautiful and character driven story.
I always love Brook's last line there. He's so much of a musician hid final moments are annoyance that hes not even playing the melody.
Brook's backstory contains less trauma, but a lot mor pure sadness. I like to think Brook learned to play all his crewmates' instruments during those long years alone...
I'm sorry but less trauma??? I have to disagree. My dude experienced pure loneliness for 50 years. That is changing a person
In fact dead brook seems to be a lot more hyperactive than human brook so there is the theory that he very much went insane in isolation
@@corvus6381 Pretty much this.
@@corvus6381 He died at 38 he basically spent more time alone than with people.
"Less truama" bro he has more trama than any StrawHat in general.
Isolation is one of the worst tortures for a human being and thats not even adding the horror of him being a skeleton surrounded by his friends dead bodies.
No matter how many times I revisit this part of the story. No matter how prepared I am. I can never watch Brooks back story without tearing up. 😩
Omg, that piano at the end was beautiful, thank you for including it in the video
Thankyou for the reaction Jack. I'm glad i can watch this moments again with someone else, eventhough just through screen. And that i can cry to this song again and again...
Don't mind me I just hear to fill my cup with Jack's tears
Im not the type of guy to cry, its very rare but so many of those times come from One Piece, theres so many points in the story that have me in absolute tears, and im glad that as a reactor you have no fear or filter to show your own emotion when these heart shattering moments happen. Never change Jack, and thank you for the piano solo at the end, it was beautiful
Thanks for being real Jack, I feel like we’re a big sad/happy family watching your reactions! Gotta follow this to the end with ya!
I really think brooks is the hardest backstory... his whole crew... all those years alone... just damn..!! with his crew's skeletons he had to carry away.. i am 35 years old.. that a long life so far.. i cant imagine 50 years alone with youre dead family/crew on the same ship..
Brook is life ♥️🔥🤙🏻
I’ve been waiting for this moment, brook’s backstory is a tearjerker
As far as I'm concerned this is the saddest episode in this show, to me at least. It's so heart wrenching. But that makes the fact that Laboon is still waiting and that Brook has found joy so much more important.
a certain baby man begs to differ. but yeah, this is up there with the best
@@majidoujaa5592 I don't think that guy is sadder than the death of all your friends, 50 years of loneliness, suicidal thoughts, and hope-toying nightmares of the past, and ending up going insane from it all.
I love your genuine emotional reactions Jack, never change.
I rewatched this through your reaction, and cried again with you, friend!!
The Rumbar Pirates were awesome. Not only were they good hearted but they were badass. They sailed the Grand Line long before it was fully explored and was even more dangerous than it is today. Truly some mad lads.
I don't blame you, even watching it again made me WAY too emotional. It's a beautiful story.
This series never stops giving you the feels. As a long time One Piece fan, I know what you're going through man. It's so good but you can't help but cry all the same.
I was really looking forward to your reaction to this episode! Thank you for posting
Playing the piano afterwards like that is cheating man, I didn't expect to take another hit after the episode ended.
IMO, of all the backstories we have seen (Usopp's, Nami's, Chopper's, Franky's, and Robin's) and of all we will see in the future, Brook's is the saddest by far!! Imagine, just IMAGINE staying alone for half a CENTURY, all for a promise you want to keep. Naruto was so thankful to Iruka and Team 7 for protecting him from the one thing he feared the most - loneliness!! Brook must have suffered sooo much, and for sooo long!!! Damn!
Nice touch with the piano music at the end. Ur making great progress, keep going ^ ^

This scene from Brook's story brought tears to my eyes. It's a poignant tale of the unwavering brotherhood that took a tragic turn during their journey without their captain by their side. I sincerely hope that in the final scene of One Piece, after they've accomplished their mission and Brook has reunited with Laboon, he won't have to face his demise after fulfilling his promise to his dear friend.
Yeah, this one had me ugly crying, watching them drop one by one like that. Didn't hit me quite as hard as burning The Going Merry, but it was still rough to handle the rest of that day.
Been waiting for you to get to this one. :P
To see his tears it how you know brook is the best if he cries like this for him
I love that over half of the "Jack crying at anime" playlist is one piece
Before I watch it, let me grab the tissues. I know how hard this episode hits.
The pace that the Strawhats made it across the Grandline was insane. From Shell Town to landing at Water 7 was just 45 days.
I've been waiting for you to react to this 😭. The piano soloyou did at the end is good 🎉
i just watched these yesterday and i’m obsessed with the song, it’s so funny and sad seeing someone go through the same exact emotional rollercoaster i did
You asked about the timeline.
Brook's flashback started 50 years back.
Roger died and started the great pirate era 22 years ago, at the age of 53.
When Brook was pirating with his old crew, Roger was still a 25-year old rookie pirate.
Must've seen his backstory at least 20 times and I'm still crying every time
that end of the video was quiet a present!! Thanks!!
with every tear we One Piece fans shed watching this show the more we grow to love it
they don't really say it in the anime, but I believe Oda "the creator" said that when you eat a devil fruit which only has to be a single bite you instantly learn its name and most basic ability. It's up to the eater to develop the techniques from there.
For example, Chopper ate his fruit and learned it was the Human Human Fruit and that it transform to have the abilities of a human but he used his medical knowledge and intelligence to develop the rumble ball and other forms.
I wonder why Luffy didn’t get the actual name of the gomu gomu no mi once he ate it
Choppers and Brooks story’s always have me in tears! I Brooks and Laboon don’t meet again before the One Piece ends I’ll burn everything down 🔥🙃
Love the piano bit at the end!
After many years this still gives me chills.
This back story and robin’s absolutely destroyed me and I sobbed hard each time 😂.
Oda's backstories always hit so hard.
The piano at the end was so beautiful
Idk how many times I have watched this episode, watched people watched or even rewatched you watch it.... It ALWAYS makes me cry.
wow that was a great ending thank you
I think his captain had the same sickness NAMI had before they met Chopper the only problem was they didn't have the same cure. I might be wrong but he got sick after visiting a jungle and same as her
Agree, I thought so too

One of the most emotional bs in one piece 💔
Bro save your tears cauz there won't be any left in the marineford arc
Any time I scroll by a video like this I always gotta check it out and watch somebody get they feels pieced up by these episodes 😂😂
man you really didnt need to make me cry again at the end. Thank you
Yorki falling ill and having to leave the Grand Line is why Crocus thought the Rumbar Pirates abandonned their promise to Laboon and ran away.
Brook was already an eccentric person when he was alive but 50 years of solitude and isolation with his only company being the bones of his former crew drove him mad. It's, in fact, a wonder, he isn't even more insane than he is when Luffy meets him.
Yeah his an Choppers backstory just always bring me to tears
