I am a teacher and when one of my sixth graders came in today smelling strongly of BR 540 I had to ask her what scent it was. It was AG Cloud. When I tested Cloud I didn’t get the similarities but today I understood the comparison.

I love BR540 and Burberry Her and think that they have a similar vibe but still smell quite different, but I think because they are both by MFK they get compared so much.
To me BR540 is perfect for family gatherings, work and dates. Where you dont want to offend, but smell gorgeous. Like if you have an office crush or something. I only have a decant, but Im sure gonna get the full bottle.

BR540 is a very controversial perfume...people either love it or hate it...and to be honest in my country most people hate it especially men and kids. And the reason being that they get a strong vibe of hospital anticeptic and not really anything else. On me happens exactly the same. So if some people don 't get compliments it is because their enviroment doesn 't like it. Burberry Her and especially Her intense are 95% BR without the hospital anticeptic vibe. Personally i have the intense and i love it so do people around me. Besides both Burberry perfumes are creations of Francis Kurkdjian himself! 😉

I get exactly that from Baccarat 540 which I unfortunately bought after thinking I liked the smell while in the dept. store. Once I bought it and was home, all I got was a heavy synthetic, too strong and very off-putting scent. You called it "medicinal" and I agree. It smells truly awful. I smelled Burberry Her on a magazine insert months later and really liked it. Never associated it with 540. After buying it and letting it dry down on my skin, lighbulbs went off - it smelled similar, but better, then my very first in-store impression of Baccarat 540!! I didn't even know people called it a 540 dupe. I love it. And will be selling the 540 as I can't stand it.
I have all of these perfumes, also Ariana cloud intense. They’re all great but my favorites even over the original baccarat are Burberry her and her intense. 🥰

Burberry Her intense is like syrupy cherries/berries but also has a slightly powdery dry down. Burberry her is the day version and her intense is the evening version in my opinion. Both are compliment getters for me.

Burberry her intense lasts about 6-8 hours on my skin and after a while I can’t smell it but others around me compliment me and im shocked. The compliments have happened after 6 hours. The dry down is a sweet powdery dry down but very sexy. I have a very hard time choosing between the two but if I had to choose I would say to go with Burberry Her it’s more of a year round perfume. I have been told that they can smell me through a mask while wearing Burberry her. I have both an will continue repurchase both. I have a 3.4oz bottle of Burberry her and a 1oz bottle of Burberry her intense. My Burberry her is already half way used and my Burberry her intense is also half way used. I got the 1oz because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like but I fell in love with it. I plan on purchasing the 3.4oz of the intense. But Burberry Her intense is not for everyone and not a safe blind buy. Hope this helps. :)
I actually can’t smell BR540 at all, and my sense of smell is very strong. It was such an odd experience! I ended up buying Her EDT (but had no idea Her was considered a dupe) and I absolutely adore it. The EDT is a juicier and more floral version compared to the EDP.
A guy I’m dating wore BR540 but a dupe of it and it smelled amazing on him. I don’t have it but I do have a dupe of it from Julianna perfume. I have and love Burberry her edp. I don’t have the original cloud but I bought the intense. It kinda reminds me of BR540 so I think that’s what they were going for perhaps.

The sample also gave me some Medicinal vibes too. The extrait seems sweeter? Is the extrait version better snd missing that hospital smell? I want the extrait smell without the Medicinal smell. Which perfume fits that bill?
@@micheller2906 I think they are but intense is more blackberry and syrupy. I use intense at night and in the winter. Intense is discontinued so I bought a back up bottle just in case.
I blind bought Burberry Her bc of your videos. I love it. :) I don't think it smells particularly like either Cloud or BR540, though. I far prefer Cloud and BH to BR540. Probably makes me a perfume peasant, but that's ok.

i feel you so much with the coconut thing, i HATE coconut in perfumes (makes me dizzy and nauseous), but the Cloud one it's really soft, fluffy & creamy... i don't know how to describe it, but it doesn't feel like the typical coconut at all! i advice you to just try it and see for yourself, because Cloud now it's one of my favorites perfumes which i didn't expected at all

I have Cloud and Her Intense. The sample I tried of Her didn't hit me just right. I think the oakmoss note didn't smell good, I could smell the similarities in AG Cloud and Her Intense,though. If they are similar to BR540 then it must smell pretty nice.

I ordered a sample of BR450 and I'm so confused because.... I just really really don't like it. To me it doesn't smell like hospital at all. And it does smell sweet, but like a rotting sweet, not a true sweet. To me, it smells like yeast, or something sweet that is beginning to go bad... maybe like a bouquet of dying flowers when the stems are getting all moldy and its pungent and sweet. Its soooo confusing to me because the smell taht everyone online and in reviews mentions I don't pick up at all... like at all lol. I keep respraying every few days to see if I'm tripping and I just don't understand the hype, it literally smells like yeast, like a pastry that's wet and has condensation drops in the box and going bad! Does anyone else get this? Am I just going crazy lol

I prefer burberry her. 540 smells a little masculine on me which I don’t like. Burberry her intense kind of has an old lady vibe to it (I think they put more patchouly in the intense version). I haven’t tried cloud (not interested) 🤷🏽♀️.

Honestly yes agree it’s fairly different from BR540, but I think we only notice cause we are in the fragrance community & have smelled a crap ton of perfumes. The general public who don’t wear perfumes regularly, will think they are exactly the same.
when I finally managed to buy her burrbery and happy to the fullest, what do you think could have happened? obviously, on my skin the notes change their smell into something unpleasant. I put it on paper and in the opening I felt how nice it smells and after it dried, I also felt on paper that something on the skin I felt and bothered. I was very disappointed, I really wanted it to work for me too, because I felt that the smell is qualitative, fine and gives that feeling of being expensive when you smell it.
Happens to me with some other fragrances too! If you really like the fragrance then I would advise you to try only spraying it on your clothes before returning / decluttering it. So far works like a charm for me.
I've tested Burberry Her and really liked it. I have the original Cloud and I love it. But from the beginning, I can't smell it in myself after the first 5 minutes. I smell it in my clothes the next day. But I want to smell it on myself because it's so good.

Hey I’m a cancer patient too…I’m in remission from a blood cancer. I had a stem cell transplant which put me in complete menopause. I’m on a maintenance chemo so I can’t take any hormones. I can’t hardly smell BR 540 on me at all! It’s so weird. I don’t get compliments either. 🥺

I hated Burberry Her so much. To my nose it smelled like really cheap strawberry shampoo. Absolutely zero similarity to BR540 IMO and to my nose. I never understand the comparison. I guess my chemistry really messed that one up. I absolutely love BR540 (mainly the Extrait version), Cloud and Cloud 2.0 and I own them all. I also own Al Haramain's Amber Oud Rouge which is pretty spot-on as far as dupes go. So good.

Strange that they smell similar but have totally different notes.
I ordered a sample of BR450 and I'm so confused because.... I just really really don't like it. To me it doesn't smell like hospital at all. And it does smell sweet, but like a rotting sweet, not a true sweet. To me, it smells like yeast, or something sweet that is beginning to go bad... maybe like a bouquet of dying flowers when the stems are getting all moldy and its pungent and sweet. Its soooo confusing to me because the smell taht everyone online and in reviews mentions I don't pick up at all... like at all lol. I keep respraying every few days to see if I'm tripping and I just don't understand the hype, it literally smells like yeast, like a pastry that's wet and has condensation drops in the box and going bad! Does anyone else get this? Am I just going crazy lol

I prefer burberry her. 540 smells a little masculine on me which I don’t like. Burberry her intense kind of has an old lady vibe to it (I think they put more patchouly in the intense version). I haven’t tried cloud (not interested) 🤷🏽♀️.
I'll never buy Cloud simply cuz of the packaging. It literally looks plastic & cheap like something for a child. I'm not putting that on my dresser on display! I'm literally 30 years old! The hell?!

I Loooooove BR540. It's my absolite fave,, i don't care. Don't like Ariana Grande Cloud but to be fair I don't have it.. so I'll give it a try. I'm also torn between Bueberry Her and Her intense.. I need to check it again on my skin

Girl whatttt give me your nose 🤣 I cannot pick up any lavender in Cloud and I love that note 😭. Honestly yes agree it’s fairly different from BR540, but I think we only notice cause we are in the fragrance community & have smelled a crap ton of perfumes. The general public who don’t wear perfumes regularly, will think they are exactly the same.
when I finally managed to buy her burrbery and happy to the fullest, what do you think could have happened? obviously, on my skin the notes change their smell into something unpleasant. I put it on paper and in the opening I felt how nice it smells and after it dried, I also felt on paper that something on the skin I felt and bothered. I was very disappointed, I really wanted it to work for me too, because I felt that the smell is qualitative, fine and gives that feeling of being expensive when you smell it.
Happens to me with some other fragrances too! If you really like the fragrance then I would advise you to try only spraying it on your clothes before returning / decluttering it. So far works like a charm for me.
I want to order Burberry her but I'm afraid exactly of that :( lots of perfumes don't work on my skin recently
I own both BR540 and Burberry Her. BR540 wins hands down. IMO Burberry Her has “0” silage and turns into a skin within the hours of wearing it.

ill be the odd one to say that burberry intense smells so good, you just need an oil to place on first to make it last.
I've tested Burberry Her and really liked it. I have the original Cloud and I love it. But from the beginning, I can't smell it in myself after the first 5 minutes. I smell it in my clothes the next day. But I want to smell it on myself because it's so good.
I have Cloud and Burberry Her, and love them both, but the Cloud doesn't last on me for any kind of time!
It was the same for me! Get the Cloud intense. You’ll deff smell that one.

Hey I’m a cancer patient too…I’m in remission from a blood cancer. I had a stem cell transplant which put me in complete menopause. I’m on a maintenance chemo so I can’t take any hormones. I can’t hardly smell BR 540 on me at all! It’s so weird. I don’t get compliments either. 🥺

I hated Burberry Her so much. To my nose it smelled like really cheap strawberry shampoo. Absolutely zero similarity to BR540 IMO and to my nose. I never understand the comparison. I guess my chemistry really messed that one up. I absolutely love BR540 (mainly the Extrait version), Cloud and Cloud 2.0 and I own them all. I also own Al Haramain's Amber Oud Rouge which is pretty spot-on as far as dupes go. So good.
