I agree! even if I do all my regime before I apply my makeup, it seems as if any foundation doesn't grab well on the skin, and it happens even changing all the products... I find regular exfoliating with acids really helps my skin texture, especially on my nose and chin where makeup sits kind of weird. and then after I moisturize I do something else for a few minutes to let it sink in instead of putting foundation on right over top.

It seems to be the one area that's not covered on CZcams and that really makes a difference with he makeup applies. I think this is where a makeup artist like Lisa can really help us since she deals with so many different skin types and issues.

I tend to stay away from darker eyeshadow because I have a darker skin tone, so I feel like it makes my eyes look really droopy & tired, but you have totally convinced me otherwise! I've found that no matter how good a foundation/concealer brush is, the result can never be as even as a beauty blender, which is probably the best beauty product I've come across in my life!

My doctor warned me that ignoring your allergies can be very dangerous and it can even make them worse, because your body...well, freaks out :) and constant sneezing, caughing and sweeling can cause a damage to your lungs and so... in summary: allergy sucks! true story... I just love that you did Nicole Kidman's makeup. When I saw the photos from Cannes this year I was amazed at how good she looked. Often I see a lot of smokey eye looks that are a bit heavy handed or very graphic and try-hard, often with a full load of makeup everywhere else on the face. I really like how Lisa does this one. Her using concealer to get through House of Cards binges made me laugh as well. I just love her.

I have dark skin and I've found a bright inner corner highlight and waterline really open up the eyes.

Is it just me or would we love a Q&A with Lisa? Like just random questions. Like would love to know her thoughts on botox, fillers, has she done any? What would she suggest. She works with so many celebs would just love her viewpoint. She is so natural and hasn't aged!
Often I see a lot of smokey eye looks that are a bit heavy handed or very graphic and try-hard, often with a full load of makeup everywhere else on the face. I really like how Lisa does this one. Her using concealer to get through House of Cards binges made me laugh as well. I just love her.
Please tell me you don't wash it off after filming. I hope you go out n have a great time with that stellar makeup on!
