Recently, a friend and music colleague was selling one of these units at a yard sale sponsored by a local music store. Without having heard this synth ever before, I was a bit hesitant to buy it that day. So, I decided to do some research and came across this video on CZcams which clearly shows how powerful this synth module really is. The next day, I went back and bought it. I am glad I did.

I don't know what kind of person gives a video like this a thumbs down, but I can only imagine they also kick their dog after he fetches a stick or does tricks on command.
I had a TR Rack for a number of years and I loved using it as a present machine. The extra piano and drum sounds that weren't available in the Trinity ROM added a lot to the instrument. The pianos were very playable IMHO.
I really like this module... I purchased the korg M3 88 key board, this module will go great with it. I plan to buy a few of them. I used the trinity rack a while ago in Church, it made the worship experience beautiful. You are a an excellent musician, thanks...
Your post made me go and get one. Confirmation from God. I know it's old (ish) - but I can see some amazing worship with this and my organ module and srjv soundset.
I probably have overkill, but I have one of these, a 01r/w, a m3r, a Roland mks20 a d110 and a jv90 used as both a synth and controller for the previously meantioned modules
Really nice shorts. It be fun to hear you in a band playing entire songs. I had a tr 61 with the keyboard in 2005. Stupidly I sold it. Im happy to say for 350 bucks i bought the sound module. The tr rack. It’s loaded with great sounds. Thanks for your video.
Thanks! Because of the video, I bought a TR-Rack! I have "midified" my trumpet: Yamaha Silent Brass pickup mute --> Roland GI-10 (with hold latching switch and expression pedal) -->TR-Rack --> Behringer q802usb Boss VE-20
The Trinity beats the Triton with its superior multi band filters. Triton filters are limited to low pass and high pass and IMHO sound inferior to those of the Trinity.
@Gee Bill Yes, most keyboards from the mid-1980s onward will have a MIDI out port which you can connect via a MIDI cable to the MIDI in port of a synthesizer rack module like this Korg Triton. It appears that the author is just recording the output of the Triton directly without additional effects, although I can't verify this. Also, don't give up on your Casio - I've found that almost any keyboard will have great sounds that you can find a use for sooner or later with a little bit of programming and good mixing in your music.
Wow! I have one of these, but I tend to ignore it in favor of the older N1R and the newer Triton Rack, which I also have. I'll have to play with it some more and get to know it better :)

Hi there. Thanks so much for the demo. Your talent for choosing each tone with the matching performance is great! I noticed a couple of piano sounds in combination with strings and bass duo but I was wondering if it has a nice recital kind of piano sound. Would you be able to comment?
