This video is about the Toxopid in Mindustry v6 and how its op, it will battle/ fight with the Corvus , Reign , Omura and Eclipse - Hry
Yes but there are many things we can discuss about that make it not a good as other things in many turret to unit combat situations
Tho it's op against units
Fire example , reign uncounterably pierces through an extreme amount of walls , making walls completely useless against it , and omuras outrange any unit by far and can stay relatively safe from buildings
Toxoid is better against units but many things like the sapping don't really matter at the end bc it is just gonna get cryo ripples/cyclone and die immediately from the explosive damage buff of cryo and the clown down too
Meanwhile omuras deal a ton of damage on a single hit on pierces if possible , reigns destroy everything and corvuses are..kinda just cute versions of omuras they should get buffed
Also ankle dumb so red air falls off but support air deals massive AOE damage with t4 , but the real power of support air is oct : runs past bases and drop things that one shot core everywhere
Great point, though a big misconception is that toxopid saps health like spircot and arkyid, it cant at all since if it did it would be way too op. and Id say corvuses are balanced since they could walk on land, unlike omuras being limited to water

Well it's extremely expensive to the point that you need titanium, plastanium (oil, spores, near endgame materials), silicon, cryo fluid (so metaglass and more titanium as well) graphite, thorium (the last base element), and a heckin heck load of power (so maybe even a thorium reac- I mean nuke)
I started recently and didn't know they had mechs like this
Well it’s good if you are fighting units but some turrets will destroy it or just air spam since the AOE cannon can’t hit them

Well toxos aren't the best anti base units but since you can just drop them on top of cores and more than one you're right
The thing is that currently , if you carry a unit , the game doesn't know the unit exists and makes one more of it , so if you carry a unit the factories reach the unit cap , the units will die instantly upon being dropped

Omura can still beat anything before it even gets close.
The absurd rage it has allows it to simply stay out of range of the enemy unit.
Yeah but omura only stand and shoot but if it get control by player maybe omura win
what about 50 T1? omura screwed to that
You can also see that they castrated the flare factory during the fight via reaching the unit cap for flares, and while it definetely wouldn't help DPS-wise, could still serve as a distraction or meatshield.
It's terrifying to fight in a close range with it, ranged units are the best way to fight it

Apply a simple fade to black effect over a single second alongside a steady constant zoom. Repeat that for each unit's scene. Should be easy enough!

If there is no plast walls he will snipe those conveyor and nodes alike.
Maybe an idea: Bring back the rapid fire spectre attack(yes you can replicate the attack speed of reaper from v5 with spectre using water and a normal overdrive. Idk how i managed to sync that in my head but o well) and it deals fair amount of damage?
I mean the Corvus might actually be a good unit if it didn't share the same accuracy with Lancer

Eclipse fight was a joke, it outranges toxi, had it stayed out of toxi fuse range it would be dead without a chance
i thought eclipse was slower than toxo

Considering how long the Toxopid took to best the Eclipse, some Antumbras will obliterate the Toxopid (high single-target dps)
Based on my experience in game:
Toxopid: haha cannons go VRAK VRAK VRAK KABOOM
Reign: ah shit here we go again *watches all the defense spontaneously explode*
Omura: the mobile version of the "why do I instantly die over here" foreshadow, now with EVEN MORE tiny annoying ships!
Corvus: the reason plastanium walls exist
Antumbra: giant mosquito with guns, or a giant annoyance

He was my fav from day of the launch of this update and i played him ever since. Even if he was weakest of all he have great benefits and even if he hadn't those he is so fucking cool! Idk why but I have a thing for multileged robots (from all kinda games like walking war robots, etc)

Of course we all know that Toxipod is good cause of its special ability to climb on terrains and other stuff
And its also satisfying to watch it walking
I just did a campaign map where the guardian wave level 32 was 2 Toxopid and I got totally demolished. Oh, and the map had neither sand nor scrap so I coudn't make silicon past what I brought from launch. Gg.

T5 units are really expensive if you don't go out of your way to maximize production on the zones you already captured

Well, Toxopids are raiders. They are good at base attacks, but I can tell they aren't strong in unit 1v1.

Technically, Toxopid is the only T5 unit that was intended to be the fire-power, other ones have their own uses. Raven is a hit-scan machine, OCT is the guy to drop the toxopid on the field, Omura is also a hit-scan thing (which is also worse than it's little brother dps-wise, but anyway), Eclipse is flying which is an important feature, and Reign... yeah, Reign sucks.

I'd like someone to make a survival map that lets you start as a Toxipid.
I have beat the campaign, so i decided to play again modded, but i start with a toxopid, if the toxopid is destroyed, i have to restart the sector. Each core destroyed is an extra life
I have never experienced such thrill until i solod 3 antumbras while my units swarmed the enemy base
I survived btw, with 3 hp
one thing its especially good at, is killing morale of your opponent, because, well

Toxipod is a great anti unit, and it is great at a genral versatility for base destroying, while it does have less dmaage it can tank for units and do descent damage support
