"Destined" (Verse 1) I'm wishing for much different, I love you, you don't get it, I'm fucking pissed, At me, at you, The shit we never did, The past came and went, Now it's you too, Used to be like Bluetooth, Now there's no connection, You know I use to soothe you, Misuse you, Trust issues is the only way I stayed consistent, The people watching from the side they can't wait to mention, How they knew this was a bad decision, Fuck do they know, bunch of couch potatoes, Finding ways to wedge in, What i know is I've grown, What i know is you've grown, What i know in the end we faced every demon deep below, As above, and that's the only way we're headed, Although separate, I can't explain why it's destined, I can't explain why it's ended, (Verse 2) Nah you shouldn't be with me, The audacity i'd have to agree, With a sample that ain't seen, The devil and how he played with yo braids, The selfish mufucker that would lie everyday, The reasons that you walked away, Reasons that gon' haunt my brain, And soul for eternities to come, It worries me you found a way to love, Someone so twisted, That never gave a fuck, You unraveled me and left me where the gravel be, I can only hear the gabel ring, knocking on the wood, Serving me the judgement that the people wish they could, Only you know my secrets, The deepest, Cavities created from the sweetest mal-intentions, Kingpins, that pinned me to the floor, Black and white checkerboard, Mahogany decor, It comes better from the source, At least that's what they told me when they had me paint the floor, Hurt people hurt people, Hurt that caused divorce, That shit burned me to the core, But I'm rising once again, These ashes are a weighted blanket, Laying in my bed, The phoenix needed sleep, But it's time to fly again, I'm tired but the tired never ends, I just find a way to bend, Cause breaking is optional, I just find a way to mend.
Just wanna let you know, I'm currently putting together a project and it will have at least 3 instrumentals formulated by you. If you would like, I can share reference tracks of some to you through IG and whatnot. The main reason I'm putting it here is just so you are aware and to give you praises that you deserve as a producer. The use of samples and drum lines you form are incredibly top tier, and I thank you for your work. Hopefully I can make you proud. Easily one of my favourite producers.
