I think this one has a real gospel vibe that is so fun to sing along to.
After hearing this and Humble, I have to ask myself why these 2 don't put out a whole album of this swing reggae sound.

I hear blues, jazz and GOSPEL in there as well as everything else - and an old skool mic from around 1930 with that compressed/ live radio sound you hear on reeeeally old radio show recordings. It's f***in wicked!❤

It's incredible listening to Ren with his catalogue, traversing so many different musical styles. The one that amazed me though was him and Sam Tompkins improvising around a Stevie Wonder song, that was lyrical jazz as in there was a basic underlying beat and they seemed to be picking different covers to fit to it. Truly jaw dropping. Keep up the positive flw Cliff.

One of my favourite ren songs.. there's a lyric version of this... same song, has dancing skeletons on it but has the words at the same time on the screen as the lyrics are sung. That's the only reason i picked half of it up lol. Pease check out Heretic too if you haven't already

This one is TRULY wonderful song.
He ha a unique way of blending styles of music to create a monster of a song.
Love this one. It's in my top picks and I know that's hard to do. I love how the beginning sounds like an old radio and then the beat hits. Then Ren and Eden sing those wonderful melodies. I would love for them to do more together. I could listen to this all day.
Besides the other genres everyone else has mentioned, it has a real New Orleans music scene feel.

A fallen arch angel walking among us. Everybody was drawn to him in their own way. His scent was different to Everyone he made contact with. I feel like Ren is that musical equivalent.
