Will it foam up my thoughts on this soap no lubricity at 2 oz I found myself dumping about 8 oz in my water bucket just to get some kind of status for caitian
Use warm water to get a better foam it changes the ph level, but you are using a soap dispenser. Buy a 2ltr bottle attachment, half n half warm water and foam/soap, then use that to cover the car, rinse with worx washer to clean out the workings
First you need the extension on it .You will need more pressure to get a foam and if you mix your soap 2 parts soap to 2 parts water 50 50 mix or 4o 1 mix that will help.I also put a small toothpick sized hole at the top of the intake tube inside the soap bottle and that got better foam for me.
It would be nice if Worx chose to make a true foam dispenser for the hydroshot, Because they classify their product as a soap dispenser not foam. The tips of each are formulated different. I think if they decided to manufacturer a true foam cannon it would be very effective. I would think it could operate like the Ik foam 9 Pump foam cannon but without all the necessary pumping to build pressure.
Okay here's an example up north we got Dawn dish soap right and then we got the bootleg brand Ajax so basically the Dawn dishwashing soap is thick with a lot of lubricity in it the Ajax soap is thin with little lubricity
I use this wash & wax soap and it work well with the hydroshot but a little to well or I put too much soap because it seems like it took a lil extra to rinse the soap off.
You do realize if you watch car wax reviews they use dawn to test how well the wax holds up because most waxes can’t hold up to a single wash with dawn dish soap. Dawn is basically a wax stripper, NEVER wash your vehicle with dish soap EVER!
If you put a neodymium magnet on top near the connector point it raises the limiter pin. Therefore allowing it to pressurize as if the wand attachment was there. I do it. Works like a charm with the foam cannon attachment. 👌
There’s are HUGE difference in their 320 and 350 psi power washers -- the 350 has more than 2X the gpm even though it only claims 10% more psi ..... so forget the 320 .... and now they have a 6 amp battery. Step-up to the 450 and you can have 12 amp hours so it will stay stronger a lot longer. And then there is the 750. Very nice tool but not as convenient. The pump is external and submerged in a large pail - I use an ice-cooler for it.
You know you don't get as much pressure without the lance right? 1. Your not using enough of the soap/solution to your water ratio regardless of how good or bad it is you can't use 2-4oz for everything man. 2. Why not shake up the bottle before you put it on the hydroshot? 3. Do you have the turbo nozzle? 4. What do you think about the 40v option of the Hydroshot?

I finally got this product and I'm really pleased even was able to do my sidewalk just takes a while and I got a killer deal on Ebay. There is a newer one releasing as part of their 2x20 line so like the lawn mower it takes 2 batteries and will be more powerful as I'm hoping for 600psi with 0.80 or 1gpm
Yeah, just purchased the hyper tough machine @ walmart. I pulled on it cause if it didn't work I'd just take it back. But it did a good job. It doesn't come with all the extras like the worx, but it does well for what it is.

Update: tried to wash the car after work....on the way home, picked up a $32 foam cannon from Lowe's and meguiars gold class shampoo. Long story short, the soap mixture ran out of the lance before I could foam half the car and when I tried to put the regular nozzle on it wouldn't go all the way in so that when I pulled the trigger, the piece would pop back out. Returned to Walmart. But if you are interested in the hydroshot, worx sells refurbished units on eBay for around $30. I rather risk $30 than $100.

I own the WG644 model and with its original batteries, I say like 20 minutes. I bought 2 20v 6.0ah batteries from eBay and they last extraordinary longer. I rinsed my car, then foamed it , (with a foam bottle that I bought from Amazon. It can produce great foam!) Used a wash mint then had to rinse some parts of the car because the foam had dried , rinsed the whole car afterwards , rinsed the wheels , applied a wheel and tire cleaner, and finally rinsed them off and the battery only went down 1 bar!
The next day I washed my sisters car, same process and again only went down 1 bar ! Seriously it’s a really good gun and it can produce way better foam than what he showed

I've seen a video by another guy using another brand of soap and it really made thick and good "sticking" foam. He didn't even use the turbo nozzle.

Normal washing soap is not meant to be used for foaming. I recommend you purchase products which are specially designed for this.

I have a hydro shot too. You have to use more soap to water ratio. I use chemical guys pink stuff if that helps

the low pressure is because of the bucket, connect to the spigot and you'll see a big difference.

Word to the wise the only time you should not be using the longer Lance is in a water fight or watering plants sign*

Depends on your usage but an extra battery is always good and the main difference between the different volts is the 40v give you a lil more runtime

Soaps with wax in it usually doesn't foam as well as soaps without wax

Yeah, just purchased the hyper tough machine @ walmart. I pulled on it cause if it didn't work I'd just take it back. But it did a good job. It doesn't come with all the extras like the worx, but it does well for what it is.

You are using a soap dispencer, its not a foam cannon, use a foam cannon if you want foam.
