In response to the future match timing: You actually do get extra time on camera since you complete setup and then start 35/55 minutes. So you don't waste any time getting to the table or shuffling. As for the timer on the table, I run it through a website that lets me remote control the time, and unfortunately that website no longer works. Literally just happened that weekend.
Also, the judges do keep track of the time, and for Nationals. There was always one on the feature table. So you can just ask them in this kind of situation
Roger here: I realized the extra 5 minute thing today actually. Like we said at the end of the day nothing is going to be perfect and the production you set up is amazing. Unlucky about the clock thing. I'll just add it to my list of bad variance on the weekend 😅

18:00 It's interesting that this specific play would've been illegal in Yugioh. In that game, you're allowed to bluff to some extent, like by setting a spell as if it were a trap, but you're not allowed to directly indicate that you have a card that you don't. You're not allowed to give information about private knowledge, and you're especially not allowed to lie about private knowledge.
I think it's a cool play, though. Good job!

i did not realize you dropped a game in team sealed roger. I lied to everyone that I told we didn't drop a single game in this event. The shame I will bear for this shall last centuries

Regarding matches on camera taking longer: do you think an extra 5 minutes would be enough for all the extra things like using dice for your attacks?
Also it was the good gentleman Riddlerman who donated the tablet 🫡
