Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time CZcamsr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. 🌸🌸 Some quick notes! 1. Wear time was great on these...they lasted a solid 8 hours on me (I didn't go longer because at that point I was taking my makeup off). 2. The scent isn't super strong once it's on your skin.

Right?! Physicians Formula really dropped the ball on not releasing a variety of shades in their formula. They've had the same colors for the last 15 yrs😂 Ohh well....NYX did it for them 🤷🏽

Love purple blushes too! Hard to find purple blushes. I love purple lipsticks too!
I do too! But so many end up looking pink instead of purple. But on my really cool toned skin, it actually works okay for me because pink blushes usually end up looking more peach than pink, so the purples that look pink end up being more of a true pink on me so it’s not the worst. But I love finding true purpley toned ones!
"I didn't really need 12 new blushes anyway" 😂 That's such a great attitude! Seeing how much you liked those first 6, I may pick up the Getting Butta, love that rosy tone.
Haha I'll probably pick up one or two more when they come to Ulta. I'll have to see the shades in person. :)
Thank you for making this so quickly! If I can make one suggestion, it would be helpful to move the camera closer (or zoom in if you have a zoom lens) when showing application on your face. It’s hard to see a lot of detail this zoomed out. Ty!
I just got a brand new camera so I'm still working out all the settings. I normally do zoom in close when showing foundations and other face products but I just set it up today and then these blushes came in and I didn't want to wait, haha. 🥰🥰
There’s something very tactile about the packaging. I’ve been using the bronzer over all my high end ones because it’s just fun and satisfying to open, use and close this compact. 😂
These look stunningggggg!! If I didn't have the HAUS, Too Faced and REM blushes, I'd be all over these! They are really filling a gap in the drugstore market.

I wish that makeup brands would understand that there are a lot of people that want nude, natural shades in different undertones. Not everyone wants bright shades
Very true! But also the bronzers NYX came out with in the same line are nude peachy/pink undertone bronze shades. I actually use those for blush a lot of the time! :)

Thank you for reviewing these blushes so quickly. I absolutely love the bronzer and have been using the lightest one as a blush sometimes. The formula is so smooth and forgiving, even where I have some texture. After seeing the purple on you I think that’s the shade I want to try.

Omg I’m so excited they’re coming out with blushes in this formula! I love how the formula feels but don’t usually like much bronzer on my fair cool skin. Now I can get one in a color that’s more my speed!

I agree the bronzer are the best of the best and the smell is so faint you barely smell it can wait to try the blushes!
Mango seed butter in these is a no for me. I’m allergic to it and SOOOOO many cosmetic products contain it, along with avocado oil. It’s endlessly frustrating to someone like me. It’s too bad because that looks like such a gorgeous formula. It looks stunning on you Jen! Dior WHO???

Jen, thanks so much for mentioning that pinks can often turn warm. I almost always have this problem with blushes and lip color! A hint of purple is just what is needed. 💜

Love the way these new blushes seem to blend themselves out really well! I thought of you today when I applied my mascara, I used the Malani tubing first then, applied the Elf Lash and Roll, it made my nonexistent lashes huge! I bought both of those on your recommendation! Love from Texas!

I thought about buying one or two when NYX had the 40% off sale (these were not included but I purchased other items), and decided against it--I have so many blushes! Mistake! Wow, all of those were gorgeous on you. They really did look airbrushed. I love the bronzer so now I know I'll add a couple of these to my ever growing blush collection..... Thank you for actually pausing to show what it looks like on the skin. I dont watch a lot of makeup reviews as much but I swear most people will just show you the product applied for just a second before moving on and I'm like "wait I wanna see it!"

On the makeup list they go! 😂 they’re beautiful. I already love the NYX Buttermelt bronzers. I have the lightest shade and the one that is just a bit darker. I use them both as my blush and bronzer. I have very fair skin with cool undertones. It’s hard to find just the right bronzer and blushes sometimes. I am loving these NYX ones tho! Proof of an amazing blush. 😊 Then I checked the ingredients, and realized they have almond in them, which I'm allergic to; guess I'll enjoy seeing them on you online. 😊

I like them all! But if I had to narrow it down, I'd get the orangey one and the rosy one. But they're all so pretty 😍
Im glad that powder blushes are coming back, particularly for summer. AND, maybe im alone in this but both putty and liquid prodcts disappear on me throughout the day. I usually do a liquid or creme first then a power on top. Yes the packaging keeos them so well protected during travel and you can wrap them in saran wrap + ziploc bag to keep them fresh.
