Season 2 didn’t have a filter like season 1 it just didn’t have any bright lighting or colour correction. It got bright from season 3-5 but it wasn’t until season 6 and all stars that the show started to look the way it does now

She had immunities, remember that, she should've been in the bottom for the snatch game and the rocker girls singing challenge, but they kept her from the bottom, didn't give Jessica immunity when she won and the next episode she was gone. She was lowkey favored but she still was very good.

Ugh, season 2 has such a special place in my heart. I still remember watching only the re-runs at 1 a.m. on really low volume with the remote in my hand so no one at home would catch me watching it. Season 2 was the first time I got to see this amount of gay people at the same time on screen and I LIVED for every second of it. Pandora was my fave from the start and I hated Tyra, but over time she won me over and I was rooting for her at the finale.

How did you keep from laughing? This season killed me. I really loved the snarky rawness of Raven that didn't seem to go over with the ladies the way it came off on screen . You can't be too sensitive on that business. Thick skin and a snarky personality is what makes the most famous queens rise to the top. I'm still confused about why Pandora did do better. She had all the boxes checked. Natural beauty is not a requirement of drag and she had every aspect of the best queens in the business and historically. I guess this was the season for beauty

People tend to forget that Tyra won 3 challenges, only one in her season to do so and the only won to never be in the bottom. Love her or hate her, she earned it. It was truly a close top 3. But how do you hate Tyra's win but love Violet's win when they are truly the same person, age range and attitude. Both avoided the bottom 2 and both killed the runway. Also they both won 3 challenges. So I don't understand how you can love one and hate the other

Tyra statistically did the best and presented herself very well in front of the judges. She deserved to win. That being said, Raven has so much more personality. She has achieved things that many winners would be jealous of. She is literally rupaul’s makeup artist and won an Emmy! Her 2x runner-up status is so legendary too at this point.

I like Raven and Jujubee but I still think Tyra was rightfully the winner since she was consistently bringing her best throughout the season unlike the other two who slipped up quite a lot
Sandy Sausages Personally I love Raven but I think that it was the best for Tyra to win.
She was stable and had her wow moments (the white gown was beautiful and the three-in-one outfit etc) and she was very passionate about winning. I didn't mind about the things she said about the other girls but the thing that was little weird for me was that even though she was so passionate about winning she didn't put effort in the group challenges and that pissed me off a little.
Raven had her downs in the beginning but she picked herself up (after Morgan left and she focused in herself more) and there was challeges that I think that she should've won (the wedding dress and rock concert) and if she had been like that from the beginning then she would've had more chance in winning
Raven did not slip up much at all. Number needed to step it up a bit. I love them both. Tyra was a hot mess to the girls. If ru would Be seen her backstage things might be different.

Jujubee's reaction to being fake slapped was so much more convincing than Tyra's and Jujubee had a strong presence throughout the entire video imo. I love Raven and Jujubee so much, I feel like Jujubee should have won season 2 and was a bit disappointed Raven didn't win Allstars even though I still love Chad Michaels.

It’s so irritating when I see people say that Tyra didn’t deserve to win. I love jujubee more than any other drag queen, but Tyra was the best of season 2 and deserved to win.
Honestly, I'm ok with her winning for her runways, considering she has deservedly disappeared afterward due to her antics and complete lack of an interesting personality, while Raven has become an icon
Tyra literally said that she doesnt want to have anything with the show, which to be honest I feel like sucks. She could have got the place she deserved, if only she cared enough. If only she didnt do whole beef with Tatianna, calling Morgan dead, and most importantly, if she did not say she would bomb DragCon - she probably could be asked for All Stars 4 like Bebe did, or she probably would be able to just ask Rupaul for it - cause bitch deserved that (just for the sheer amount of hate she got through last decade, most of which she did not deserve, until it made her fully pop-off). And she most likely would get all recognision she wanted, cause she is sickening. But I guess some things can't change. Wish she is in better place now, cause all of it doesnt bother me anymore (Im not angry at her, angry about treatment she got, anything), its just feels sad to me at the end of the day.

But long story short -> after season 2 Tyra got a massive hate "fandom". It affected her a lot and her being a bitch didn't help a lot. Thus through years there always was soo much drama around her and her mental health most likely got really affected.
Then few years ago she posted on social media that Morgan is dead, which lead to people (including Morgan's family) believe for a moment that she in fact died (especially when this happened around the time of those few incidents in gay clubs and other places where people were killed).
Then she had that drama with Tatiana, where Tyra doxed her phone number.
There obviously was more details in both stories with bad things done from both sides (like Tatianna did retaliate releasing Tyra's phone number too).
Finally all those went quiet, until before one DragCon Tyra published that she will bomb DragCon (which was some twisted way of advertising her album or something, but people did actually believe in that threat, and she got banned), after this she said she doesnt want to be ever mentioned or linked with Drag Race.
Overall, dont hate her, but if you want to support her just do it as if she was never a RuGirl. I think that a large number of people consider her to this day as someone genuinely unstable. She really burnt that bridge, and I think we should just forget about her - until she finds herself in better place.
