The floor is expanded metal works great and is strong. The wire is 1 x 2 and I did design it myself. I'm located in middle Georgia so the weather is mild in winter
is the electronic pad allowed before they enter the loft as i was under the impression they have to be in the loft to count them as being back home ? bit of a noob question as im in the process of building my own loft for racing and want to get it right first time ,im doing mine 20x8 yours is a lovely set up ,really really nice im jelous :)
Al, thanks for the info. I'm in Rock Hill, SC and I fly tipplers. I appreciate the info. Where can I purchase expanded metal works. I'm making some changes to my loft and I would like to install that type of flooring. Less maintenance, had my hipped scoped two years ago and I have trouble bending down scrapping the floor. Two more questions, the loft is of the ground how many feet? What's the pitch on that roof? Once again that's a great loft! Thanks You for all the info! Have a great season!
any place that sell steel or a welding shop should be able to get it for you. it comes 4x8 , 5x8 , 6x8 sheets . I really like it almost all droppings fall thru
I fly in the middle georgia pigeon club. they have a one loft race that members take turns handling last year was my turn. and our combine has the walter zebroski band race $15.00 per band and out of area flyers can enter they just need to find a handler in the combine. www.mgrpc.org check out the clubs link we are have a live and online auction next sat with birds from some top lofts in the usa.
