true.. the character does look and sound superior, one of the reasons why he's successful with it. it also goes along with the name of this show, KING of masked singer.
To be perfectly honest , I liked Ha hyun woo as Music Commander more than himself ( if that makes sense ) . The power when he sings , the mellow , the tone , soul everything sounds tad more than him performing on stage . Maybe because the diff type of stages and music , and im low-key hoping that the would just someday wear that outfit again and perform on shows somewhere . But yeah , I respect his wishes . It will forever be in our memories :( One of the absolute best memories I've ever had .

Thus, Olivier would change his appearance to fit the role with such things like make-up, a false nose, a garment, the way he walked, etc. So, with the mask and uniform of the Music Captain, Hyun Woo could safely become someone else , and in effect, let go. let loose and allowed his abundant talent to just pour out of him, and even experiment with things he would normally not do with his band. It was truly great to watch.
It is really a fantastic experience listening to Ha Hyunwoo singing "PULSE" at the show "King of Mask Singer" Ep63, its so incredible and magical. Now I'm addicted to this song and i must listen to it everyday :)

At the same time, it also allows us to see how good Hyun Woo is as a singer! His vocal ability and skills are incredible. Very jealous of his natural singing ability! :)
전 '탑밴드'에서 '거울'을 부르는걸 처음 봤는데 국카스텐의 연주와 노래와 하현우의 몸짓에 꼼짝을 못하고 봤었어요~충격 그 자체…'국카스텐'이라는 이름이 뇌리에 콱 박혔죠^^다른 노래들은 최근에서야 접했는데 매니큐어, 몽타쥬, 도둑, 프레임등은 듣자마자 좋았구요~처음 들을 때는 거울처럼 너무 좋다는 생각이 안드는 곡도 좀 있었어요…싱크홀, 꼬리, 변신, 붉은밭, 깃털등등이 그랬는데 유튜브로 공연영상을 보면서 들으니 너무너무 멋있고 금새 흠뻑 빠지게 되더라구요~그 후엔 듣기만 해도 곡마다 너무너무 좋네요^^열정적이고 재치 넘치고 예의바르고 귀엽기까지 한 음악천재 하현우~매력덩어리~!!
하현우는 국카스텐의 보컬인 동시에 음악대장입니다. 음악대장은 이미 하현우의 일부가 되어버렸어요.

저도 국텐 노래 첨듣고 좀 아쉽다라는 생각을 했다가 점점 좋아지긴했지만 그래도 지향하는 음악들속에 보너스식으로 좀더 대중들이 가볍게 들을수있는 멜로디와 가사로 만든 곡도 바래요.
마음은 알겠지만 그렇게 힘들게 8년이나 고수해온 스타일이랍니다 ㅠㅠ 그렇게 쉽게 정체성을 바꾸라고 하시는 건 국카스텐의 일부를 부정하는 일은 아닐까 해요. 펄스 같은 곡은 이전 곡보다 더 대중적인데 그 정도는 어떠신가요?
국카스텐이 지향하는 바가 뚜렷하고 그걸 굉장히 아끼는 팬들이 많습니당 국카스텐 자신들이 자기들의 음악을 사랑하구요ㅎㅎ
난 국텐 노래만 듣는데.경연곡은 거의 안듣게 됨.. 그것도 그것대로 좋지만 계속 찾아 듣고 새로운게 발견되는 건 국텐노래들.
