Yu-Gi-Oh! Retro Deck Profile! Infernity Synchro Deck 2010 (Yugioh History - TSHD Format)

- In 2010, The Shining Darkness (TSHD) revolutionized several Yugioh meta strategies involving Synchros and unleashed X-Sabers, Frog FTK, and Infernities. Infernity is a synchro OTK deck that relies on having no cards in hand to activate powerful combo effects and swarm the board with synchros and defend it with negation such as Infernity Barrier. This triangle format devastated duelists, but was one of the first times Infernities would thrive at the competitive level in Yugioh History.

In 2010, The Shining Darkness (TSHD) revolutionized several Yugioh meta strategies involving Synchros and unleashed X-Sabers with Darksoul, Frog FTK thanks to Ronintoadin, and Infernities in their entirety. The format just before TSHD came out was one of the greatest formats of all time.
Then this set came out...
Kinda glad we didn't get the OCG version with 3 Trish, that was too broken.
Super idée de vidéo, 1 abonné en plus !
This deck is now playable again, primary synchro version because of being able to search 3 barriers so now you can loop mirage with hundred eyes.
My ending board for now is co-linked tri-gate and archfiend with 3 barriers and 2 fog blades so 6 interruptions is kinda insane 🔥🔥👑
Btw you only need 2 hundred eyes and 2 leviair to loop, more than that is not needed
U can send the deck list!? i love infernity n i want play this awesome deck again!
@@dezadkiel I Will Make video on them soon, I don't have time these days but since they are my favourite deck I will try to do it
My channel is here you can learn something from them:

@@milospavicevic192 Ty! You have one more sub. ;)
@@dezadkiel haha you didn't have to,but I appreciate it a lot! I really enjoy playing infernity and it has been since archfiend got hit to 1. Basically my goal is to put infernity in any deck 😹
Nice secret rare grepher!
The craziest thing in this combo is that everything is soft once
For me, infernity was really the first o interaction deck. I really can’t think of many decks besides this, six samurai, counter fairy with good hands, and a slight few others that just didn’t allow the other person to play. Even playing through formats of both DAD decks, Max power glad beast, lightsworn, geargia, Dino rabbit, and others, just those few decks stand out as I literally can’t play other cards.
Polkamon For me, it was the first archetype deck I really got into and I appreciated how I had to be super good with it in order to make hands that seemed like a brick not one.
DemonFox369 super good is relative. It’s either hands that you stall with and play towards launcher or you’re able to set it all up turn one. I can’t really think of any middle grounds for the deck.
My friend was on BW at the time, and he ran 3 D.D. Crow and 3 Dark Eruption and he was the only one at my locals that could deal with it
Summer of Darkness one of my favorite formats
How did ya get infernity cards?
hell yes
I suggest adding dark end dragon , most of the time It is better than doom
Infernities are one of the best decks ever and would wreck the Meta if they got back to full power
Oh hey that looks like Dale Bellido's list from back in the day 😅
Probably because he's Canadian and collaborated with Omar Beldon, who won Nats that year and this was a very similar list to that one. I know most people didn't use stuff like Break or some of the extra deck choices. Most of the lists were fairly similar.
True. Dang, all this nostalgia wrapped in one video has got me itching to play the format again lol
New age Infernity deck next plz
Blackmaster99 dark warrior variant is pretty solid
Everything is super important 😅
Could i buy that off you ?
I got a question? I'm like a filthy casual when it comes to Yu-Gi-Oh.. but I see all these deck profiles and they're all build around a certain named archetype. Like this one, Infernity.. but is it even possible to make a great deck that isn't necessarily build around a certain single archetype?? I honestly don't know how to start and build a deck on my own.. from start to end! and something nobody else really has..
I hope someone could help me out.. explaining how and what, I should exactly pay attention too when building a deck.
JCResonator you can build a savage ass deck. Sad nobody answered you in an entire month. I built a sick ass pitch black war wolf deck back in 09 that I recently re built and just added (100 percent creative) and the deck runs awesome... love infernity personally though (die hard anime fan) and I actually beat a blue eyes guardragon deck with a weird rescue rabbit bullshit deck with heavy trap support... have a black potan and white potan synchron deck that’s so cool as well. Get creative!! There’s millions of cards have fun
Dark warrior was a deck that wasn't entirely an archetype deck. Phantom knights were more of an engine
JCResonator Hand-Artifact-Traptrix is a good example.
There were/are plenty of decks that aren't archetype-based.
A few popular examples:
-Goat Control
-Tele-DADA
-Synchro Cat
-Quickdraw Plants
-Dino Rabbit
-Chaos (the many variations of)
-Dark Warrior Link
-Dragon Link
-Disaster Dragon
-Rock Stun
Also will you still be doing baburn?
Yep eventually
Cool. Another old and relatively unknown deck that would have some nice rarity to it would be junk and debris in space from when catastor was first released.
Actually, infernity archfiend is the most broken monster in the archetype.
Yes ofc but he doesn't do anything on his own,so mirage can help to revive him million times
@@milospavicevic192 none of the cards do anything on their own so idk what you mean.
@@SageofToads mirage does something on their own, necromancer revives archfiend as well. I meant that with archfiend means nothing cause you have to loop him at 3,4 times to get negates
@@milospavicevic192 necro, mirage, launcher, etc. would not be as powerful as they are without archfiend. The deck has always been centered around resolving archfiend as many times as possible a turn to net advantage which leads to overwhelming fields and otks. If archfiend was banned in 2010 instead of launcher being limited the deck would have never come up again post lavalval chain.
@@SageofToads thank you for talking about my deck, all stuff I already know 😼
Real infernity retro deck is the red nova dragon version
Okay, so you're working for Konami 🤔 with all of those barriers in your deck 🤣
Watch my banlist prediction stream from yesterday and you’ll notice I predicted/called most of the changes that happen. Either that or Konami just watched my video and went with what I said lol
@@twizYGO you should make Shaddoll Dino Thunder Dragons work out 😀
You gotta expand your vocabulary because you use "very" 100+ times
