Lately I've noticed in a lot of videos of Nigerian weddings in the U.K. that they're spraying with American dollar? Is there any particular reason? Was just wondering. As a Nigerian in America I was surprised to see it outside the US.

Yes, there's a reason and that's because pound has more value than dollar. People don't want to spend too much so they opt for dollars. I guess people are being economical and conservative 😂

Chinwe A another reason we use dollars is because we can't throw £1 coins... it's more convenient to throw a dollar bill than a minimum of £5 😅

Yes they have been doing that for years. The party I went to 10yrs ago, they were spraying dollars. Plus you can use dollars in most big stores in UK. They accept dollars. The smallest note in £ in uk is £5 note which has such a high value in comparison to 1 dollar note.
