The film is BEYOND a classic, whatever that may be this is it
well, it went past that thanks to christopher nolan who cites it as one of his all-time favorite films. i would do anything to see a parody remake trailer for this film by nolan with christian bale as ricky bobby, cillian murphy as cal naughton jr., rami malek as jean girard, florence pugh as carly, anya taylor-joy as susan, david oyewelo as lucius, the trio of robert pattinson, barry keough, and aaron taylor-johnson as the pit crew, kenneth branagh as reece bobby, and emma thompson as lucy bobby. i think it would work. get matt damon as larry dennit jr. and emily blunt as mrs. dennit. seriously, i think it would be hilarious.
