I opened and marveled at all those shiny red “Arils” all tightly packed in their perfect little positions. I ate… and the taste, flavor, snap, sweetness made me KNOW there is a God and creator!

What is the reason for putting it in water? I've seen several videos putting the seeds in water; but in my mind, you're just rinsing away the vital juice. The seeds are not dirty,therefore don't need washing. You wouldn't wash a peeled orange or grapefruit.

Welll.... You guys really need not to be this creative just for opening a pomegranate. Rather than cutting into so many fragments cut the pomegranate into half. Hold it with both of your hands, apply a little pressure in the opposite directions. Phew, you will get your pomegranate open.
