One of my favourite ladies no. 1. Sorely missed on the women's tour

all world number 1s, men and women have 2 things in common: excellent footwork and timing. Just watching Barty's feet and timing of her shots shows that her tennis is perfect.

I'm beginning to like Barty as a point of reference for my swings, specially the forehand.

Ben Borja Jr Yes, I’d say her style/pattern of play is excellent. Forehand, backhand slice and movement. She moves around the court seemingly with minimal effort as well as her anticipation is spot-on.

Yes. Her Forehand take back is high & circular. Beautiful to watch

Barty has a compact but slightly heavy build (nothing wrong with that:) it just shows that athletes come in all shapes & sizes. *you don’t physically need to look a million bucks.
Massive ability goes a long way

On the take back, she really takes that racquet head high, doesn't she? Works for her rhythm.

Seems to be working for her! The up helps get the racquet down below the ball going into contact.

    What’s her forehand grip?

Probably the next Justine, but I still prefer Justine's style and grace.

I'm not feeling it that much. Barty's FH is fluid; however, she initiates her swing path with her racket on edge versus face down.

In the Hammer It Method we teach the face on the edge vs face down to the court. Most players make the mistake of having the face too open through contact, so if your face is down you have to open the face to the ball which lends to errors for most players. If the face is on its edge, you can close the face as you go into contact.

Her fundamentals are beyond there this type of nuance is stylised personal preference. People worry about this tot much in tennis. 100% she never practice this its just how she swings a racket.
