- This is a flying experience on a twin engine Piper Navajo aircraft. This was from the greater Ft Lauderdale area airport (HWO). We flew up across the east coast and traveled up to Palm Beach. From arriving to the airport to boarding to seeing the beautiful interior, welcome onboard! This is from a passenger perspective! Enjoy, subscribe and comment! Email me at gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com for the best value and rates on private aircraft / private jet travel
Nice video and a great way to travel. The low flying along the coast was very enjoyable. A Piper Navajo is on my list of dream airplanes, maybe someday! Thanks for sharing!
Jay Ferris hey thanks. It was definitely fun! This was a short flight so super easy!
This was awesome, I rarely see this kind of video, from the passenger's perspective. Thanks!
pdutube Thanks so much for the comment. I appreciate it and it’s my friend’s plane, who’s a super nice guy. I have other videos including one from the cockpit of this one. Please feel free to subscribe :-)
Just flew on one last night. Brand new interior and flat glass instrument panel. The Navajo is an under appreciated airplane.
william brown yes - agreed and it’s truly beautiful.
Also an aero commander 500. On rod the spacious aircraft out there. Except that almost none are being flown today:( they are amazing aircraft but I don’t seem to understand why they are not around anymore
@@skyforce2132 could be limited parts available since they’re not made anymore. Not many mechanics qualified to work on them. Just assumptions I don’t know for sure.
Excelent flight! Navajo is the one of most elegant aircraft!
It really is a phenomenal airplane and such a wonderful aircraft.
That's a very clean Navajo, and a great pilot!
Indeed!
I noticed in this video that there is only 1 pilot. This world is new to me, so just curious.
@@leonardgunnjr.4597 planes under a certain weight and performance don’t require two pilots. This extends up to small business jets.
Excellent landing!! Would love to fly the shoreline transition one day.
You should!
Sweet sounding engines.
Pancake 52 I agree!!! You should subscribe! I have a couple others!!! :)
Great video....loved the camera work too.
Anthony Le Beauf thanks for the lovely comment
Such an incredible plane. I live in Dutch Harbor, AK and I took a Piper Navajo from Cold Bay, AK to Dutch Harbor, AK (178 miles apart) a few weeks ago. I was so happy to get to fly on that plane for the first time on Grant Aviation, before I took the King Air 200.
They really are awesome planes. I’m glad you enjoyed and thanks for the comment. We’re the plane rides smooth?
@@DrGariS you're welcome, thanks for sharing. I was blessed to have a smooth flight, but I heard when it's windy (which is quite often here) you feel everything on that plane. :)
I can imagine. The plane is that of a very close friend. He’s upgrading to a King Air
@@DrGariS that's awesome, I'd love to own and fly my own plane. The King Air is much better. When I flew on the Navajo we never flew above 2,500 feet because they don't pressurize the cabin, but we flew at 17,000 feet with the King Air since they could pressurize.
Great job guys. Good video, amazing views and most of all, great flying to the pilot. Beautiful airplane. I wish Piper Aircraft would put the Navajo back on it’s Manufacturer’s list. It’s a very safe, reliable and easy to fly airplane with great characteristics. Over 3,000 of these airplanes were made, that’s half the amount of the Beechcraft Baron or King Airs. Piper should sell the blueprints and let another manufacture bring these airplanes back to life with brand new specs and avionics (complete overhaul). Just like another company did with the Dehavilland DHC twin otters.
Hey thanks so much. I’m glad you enjoyed this!
DrGariS when are you making more good videos? Any flights to Bahamas?
Dream Aviation hey thanks and stay tuned. It’s tough during COVID but subscribe and see more. I’m currently covering celebrity homes
DrGariS copy that.
Hello Dream Aviation. While I don't fly planes myself, I have heard that you could in theory buy a used PA-31 Navajo, as long as the previous owner took care of it. :) This aircraft is amazing, cos I like learning about technology and aviation.
good video good aircraft
Thanks so much for the kind comment
The navajo is by far my favorite plane i've had the chance to fly
The Greatest Piston twin Can fly on one engine Lost one on T/O Climbed @ 200 FPM After feathering the prop on the bad eng
Thanks for the info. It’s a great plane for sure
Great video. Thanks for the upload. What's the cabin noise like at cruise speed?
Tim Mckay pretty nice and quiet with a slight hum of engine noise!
Casualmente lo estoy viendo hoy 19 de mayo 2020, en cuarentena por la pandemia...
This is what I was looking to do one day fly the Navajo
It’s a beautiful plane
nice interior, i'd charter that
You can’t anymore but I have other planes to charter if you want . I also have EXCELLENT rates on plane charters
@@DrGariS What would be the charter on 1 of those?
email me at gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com so I can assist on your next adventure and save on international business class air AND expeditions/cruises
like others good pilot
Thanks for the video. I’m a pilot myself and our company has been thinking about acquiring a Navajo for us to fly when we have to go to the weird places we go to, and ive seen a ton of videos from the pilot perspective, so its nice to see one from a passenger’s.
Cheers!
Great. I am so glad you enjoyed and found it helpful. Thanks for the lovely comment.
Beautiful plane! How fast does it go?
adam reed i believe it’s about 230 MPH! :). Thanks for the compliment
Hi, thanks for uploading this. Two questions: was the ride relatively smooth given that these planes are older? And also was that a lavatory in the rear (the seat perpendicular to the others)?
I'm in the market for a family shuttle and would really appreciate your thoughts
Yes and yes
If you have the money, go with a king air.
Nice video! Also what were those crop dusters at the beginning?
Skyforce 213 hey thanks! Those crop dusters are actually small planes that carry advertising banners! Feel free to subscribe as I have many other cool vids!!!!
DrGariS of course I will
Skyforce 213 the name for them is the yellow one is a piper PAWNEE!
Mark’s landings And aviation vids wow - you know your stuff!!!! Thanks for the info!
My Mooney used to live at Bobby's.
How much would it be to charter something like this? Also is there a website or something to do so? Like an app ? To charter ?
My email is gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com. There are sites and apps but going through me will get you the best rate and advice. This is my specialty and I’m a top producer with aircraft charter, so it will save you time and money if I handle it. Happy to assist.
Hey that’s my airport ❤️f45
Fun!!!
Beautiful Piper Navajo CR Do You Still Have It
Nope. Unfortunately it had a sad ending
Oh I'm Sorry Did You Ever Get Another Navajo
Do you know what year this plane was?
Not the exact year. This plane is no longer in service
Donizete Bragança Paulista sp. Brasil
You didn't happen to catch this aircraft's gear up landing last month did you?
Hi do you know about that?
Guess it was the same pilot. Sloppy, no seat belt on and cruising with the "door" open
This airplane landed gear up in January 2021.
I knowwwww! My friends were on it inti PBI - it was so scary
What airline did you book this flight thru?
What do you mean? It’s a private plane
@@DrGariS it’s not operated by a smaller airline? We have cape air here in New England.
Whats the cost to charter 1 of these?
You can email me at gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com.
I charter these and other planes
I figured it would only be a matter of time before some idiot would say something about the African American pilot who flew the plane safely and professionally.
blackbirdpilotxx Unbelievable, right!?
Well, duh, did you see that movie where Denzel Washington flies upside down?!
@@Redmile2006 He is actually Bahamian i think.
@@DrGariS I figured the same. People of all colors can fly a plane, and I don't understand why someone would throw race into aviation or any other job title. :)
I am a brown guy here (80% white, 20% South Asian Indian), and am discouraged that racism still happens in 2022, but thankfully I am not a target of that stuff very often.
All the windows were dirty!
Lol - it flew to pick me up.
If I won the Lotto I'd have one for the Family plane.
It’s a lovely plane
I sent an email as stated in the bio and it's not going through sir
Hi - thanks so much. gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com - my guess is it’s spelled wrong. It’s such a long email. If not, my personal email is DrSenderoff@gmail.com
@@DrGariS I guest resent the email sir
I hope he gave you a safety briefing and you simply didn't show it. If not, don't ever fly that company again.
Thanks for worrying - super responsible.
It’s my friend’s plane and I’ve been on it a few times but that’s a great point.
@@DrGariS OK cool. I am a pilot. We are super responsible people (mostly) :)
Draw your a freaking hater bro!
Navajoes crash.do not ride.
This one ended up going bye bye (landing gear failure)
Either 13 racist or haters dislike this video!
Thanks for that comment. Probably mostly haters. It’s ok. It doesn’t bother me at all.
Why does everything have to be about race?
