  • In this episode, Ram takes up the challenge of tracing the number of swaras hidden in a given akaaram phrase. Rasikas can also participate in this quiz as they watch the video and let us know how easy or tough it was for them to identify the number of swaras.
Your comments and feedback will help us understand your thought process and do the upcoming episodes on those lines.
Happy quizzing and wish you loads of fun!

For all these excercises, if you give swaras after QA, it would be great, mam

Thanks for the suggestion. We will get there soon.....want to make it inclusive for all the Rasikas that’s why not making it complicated by doing too many things in one video itself.

When I looked at the title and then the introduction - okay, here ends the game. I cant do it...First two excercises I couldnt even cope up with the speed even if I wanted to try. Then I thought may be I need training to listen to phrases slowly first..then getting the envelop in akaram seemed easier than with syllables...raga change was added dimension of challenge! but very cute....when i got the 9 pointer right I felt good....but why is the brain counting even the ornamentation as separate swaras prominently?! is it a good thing or bad thing?! can you please do one episode with kampitam alone? i am very curious...oops! forgot altogether..THANKS A ZILLION....If not for raga surabhi, years ago I would have given up on embracing carnatic with a heart break!
