I know those longer builds are harder to work on and I just want to say that I really appreciate all the longer videos you've been posting recently! Amazing work as per usual ❤
Glad you like them! I've been having a blast working on some new stuff!
I second this. I love the longer videos ❤️
I do, too. I watch them on my lunch.
Same. I prefer long builds/videos. Like over 20 minutes long for sure😅
Really excited with this phase you've been going through, your latest builds have been awesome!
You should totally build a pirate ship! I know you’ve already made a pirate ship tiny home but you should try making a bigger one!!! And you could also renovate the shipwreck in Sulani and make it an underground mermaid hangout. Right now i’m playing a save where there’s pirates and mermaids at war basically and there’s a romeo and juliet trope going on between them a couple of them. I’d love to see what u do with it!!!
I love this build! I personally love building bathrooms, but struggle with living rooms! Thanks, Gryphi, for being who you are you are such a peaceful break in a crazy day 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I said the same thing!!! Living rooms and teenage boy's rooms
@@aviilettersI love building teenage boy rooms so much
I love bathrooms, I think it’s because I love taking baths myself so I design a bathroom that I would LIVE and THRIVE in lol
this is a breathtaking build. I love it
Turning horses into unicorns and having a medieval kit would be so much fun !
all coffee and all tea machines as well hasn't stopped in my game. that's why I think twice before I put one down😅 as well. I love how you did the miscellaneous room. it's very similar to a color palette I'm using in a build😊
I love the way you used colors in this build! Ultra modern houses are usually very cold and unwelcoming but your build is just so calming with all these shades of green and blue. And I like how you used concrete/stone(?) flooring in the whole build. If it was a real build I would probably run barefoot all over the house just for fun.
The bathroom is perfect! Especially the way you worked the tub to the shape of the room. I love when simmers are able to squeeze in a separate shower and tub
So, Strangerville is essentially poking fun at Area 51 in the states, which is in Nevada. Having driven many long hours through Nevada deserts...yeah. They nailed it. The new Horse Ranch area looks like it's a bit more southern than that - New Mexico/Texas, maybe some Arizona? Horses have to eat, after all, so they can't really be out in the areas where it's too desert-y!
And yeah, I want some Goth stuff! As a person finding her goth phase in her 30s, it feels bad that there's basically almost no goth/punk wear in TS4!
I think the green room was my favorite, it felt like so calming with the decorations, it all came along really nicely but that room just made me feel oddly at peace and relaxed for some reason? very cute.
My friend who just started playing and texts me for advice can confirm that sims are still obsessed with coffee
Oh my gosh YES, I actually removed my coffee and tea pot from my Golden Girls house build because they were *obsessed* with them! A Sim would go pour a cup of coffee, set it down, and then go get a second and refuse to drink the first! ugh lol. I actually hired a maid for them for the countless cups all over their house hahah.
I’m not always a huge fan of modern builds, but this is just so perfect in how geometric and simplistic it is, along with how it fits into the nature around! Also, I love how your understated color scheme works beautifully with the world, with all the warm, earthy colors and muted greens.
Would love to see you build a Queenslander style home. I live in Queensland, Australia and the homes here have so much character which I think would be tricky but really fun to build in in the Sims! Love your builds ❤️
I love this! Bright and clean but soothing. I also really like the Fitness Stuff, it's pretty cute for a modern build, but it's a shame it's kind of a nothing pack unless you want to climb Mt. Komorebi. I almost never use the corner tubs because I tend to make small bathrooms with the shower-tub combo, or just a shower, but I really love the tub that came in Fitness Stuff and I'm pretty certain I used that in a small modern Vet build that I created for Magnolia Promenade! It's called the Boop-a-Snoot Vet Clinic. I put a little apartment upstairs in case I ever had a Sim play as a vet in it and I put a corner tub next to a big window but I don't think I had two windows like that ahhh that'd be so nice. I need to build another small modern vet clinic, one that's cheap enough to begin the career with!
All the apartments I've lived in had big enough tubs to bath in btw, if I bent my knees, but the other issue is how uncomfortable they could be. I'd love to take more baths to relax in so I'd love to live somewhere with a really nice tub but for this reason I've only ever taken baths when I needed to soak sore muscles in hot water. So I enjoy building bathrooms in the Sims but unless you really make them bigger and focus on aesthetics and have plenty of money to blow on decorations and better items, it can certainly get boring lol. I don't know if I'll ever get the bathroom clutter kit though. Too many other kits vying for my limited funds! I'm so so glad I managed to get the Desert Luxe kit while it was free! I bought that Morocco inspired Sims 3 looking kit before then and I still need to create a build using both! :D
And I'm still never going to forgive Maxis for not giving us the Strangerville plants in the actual Build-Buy catalog or a toggle for the story-mode (especially since every time they fix bugs/glitches in the game, it almost always affects new saves and just can't affect old ones, meaning if you keep using the same save there's a stronger chance it will be a mess.) Both of those things make the world so frustrating to deal with. I don't think I've had problems with Sims always going to the coffee machines unless they're super tired but they have become obsessed with the popcorn maker recently when I added one.
I love this house! The bathroom is so cute. I can never make a different shape work and the colors in the last bedroom are fantastic 👌
The cutting boards are like your signature
OBSESSED! I've been playing the Not So Berry challenge and my Yellow gen is living in Strangerville, definitely want them to 'upgrade' to this house!
Love love loooove this build! I also have been digging the new content you’ve been putting out, so thank you!
Oh that thumbnail ❤ I just can't help it, I love super modern builds. 😍 This looks amazing ❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!
I'm obsessed with your builds! Keep them coming!! ❤️😊
I love this built! Thank you so much. 😍
Absolutely love this build and your ideas behind this build ❤ According to me you are really one of the best Sims4 builders 😊
Stunning build!!
Ohmygod my sim would just continuously drink coffee and never sleep so I deleted the coffee machine recently 😂 thought it was just me. Also this build is gorgeous!!
Gryphi! Seeing this build in this world actually makes me want to move my sims there! 😊❤
Super nice. Makes me want Strangerville pack!
I always choose the tea maker over the coffee machine in game because of the moodlets and the green tea healing illness effects of the tea in game. The coffee never gives enough energy to be worth it. But yeah sims always brew a big pot, don’t drink it, let it go rancid, ignore it until I finally realize what’s happened, then promptly do it all over again. I’m excited for the new world. Strangerville is definitely Area 51/Mojave dessert/Red Rock National Park/Nevada inspired and LOOKS it, while Horse Ranch has a more prairie vibe, maybe 4 corners (Colorado/Utah/New Mexico/Arizona) inspired or parts of Texas? I really want more worlds that are not American or British- but if they had not done American Cowboy for the horse pack, I think a lot of the people that were actually asking for horses would have been dissatisfied. Hollywood has a really pervasive influence in getting people to think “Western film” when you say “horses”.
Great work, Tonya - glad you persevered through - it looks amazing. Just as a funny aside, the music you used here is the same track as one of the workout videos I use regularly so when it started, I had the immediate urge to start warm-up exercises. 😂
I could never do these unique shapes. Look great!!
I rarely use any other curtains than the desert luxe ones. They’re just so neutral with pretty swatches and the curtain pole extension is A+ design. Why they haven’t done this with every addition since, is beyond me. 😭
Love this house! The light green was a great accent color choice.
I never put coffee machines in Sims builds bc I don't drink coffee or have a machine irl, so I never think of it.
I love love looooove this house! This is probably one of my favorites you’ve ever done! To answer your question, I think I’m really good at bathrooms but I don’t usually really love my kitchens. I’d love to see your take on the Spencer Kim Lewis or the Roomies house!
They do that with the popcorn machine as well! I had one sim family that lived entirely off of popcorn 🤣
This is so cool! I’ll definitely be using in my gameplay. You 110% nailed this 🎉
Glad you like it!
this looks great
Yes, this is a great bathroom! 🙂
Maybe you could challenge yourself with not using a combo for a while? On the other hand, its logical you would use them in smaller builds... Maybe you could give them more "extraordinary" shapes? Just ideas, they are bathrooms, after all
I'd like to see a u-shaped family home with a pool/courtyard backyard area in the middle of the u. Preferably 4 bedrooms that all have access to the courtyard space from their room! I have tried to make this in the growing together world, but I am having troubles!
Holy moly!! This is such an incredible build!
You've really inspired me to get back into building :)
Thank you - and yay! Love that!
Second! Tonya, this looks like a mansion (probably too small, but IT really hast this mansion vibe). It's awesome! The landscaping is great 💙
Oh thank you!
Gorgeous
Loove the build, I find this modern sculptural style in an environment like the desert to look so aesthetically pleasing and I love how cozy you made it inside
Gotta say tho it always bothers me when outdoor fireplaces are used inside even if it doesn't matter at all in game lmao, I just imagine the whole house getting filled with smoke
Beautiful build! 💗 Suggestion: you could build a ranch or ranch-style farm before the new pack comes out with all the stuff we have in game (e.g. chicken coop from cottage living, western themed items from strangerville, doghouse for a livestock guardian dog etc.) and then if you want to you can renovate it once the new pack comes out! Personally, I think that'd be pretty interesting to see ☺️
Gryphi, I beg of you -- give me your building skills. I am struggling just learning the basics
Jokes aside, this build is INCREDIBLE! I'm always in awe of what you make!
AMAZING!!!!
So beautiful 😢
omg, it’s a love island villa!
i’d love to see the plane crash items used on an island in sulani!
Love this :)
You really did a great job on this build, it’s very beautiful 😍 It’s funny that you mention the coffee machine, my sims would make either coffee, popcorn, or ice cream 😅
I have an idea. Cense you renovated the Langraab mansion you could should do the Johnny Zest trailer next. This house looks like something that could go there but I think what you come up with for him personal would be better.
สวยงามมากกก สุดยอด!!
Hi! I’m a new subscriber and I love all your builds. Have you ever tried to build a restaurant before? A bed and breakfast would be cool to see ❤
wow i totally forgot about all of the great items from the fitness stuff pack!!
Awesome build, it's not showing up for me in the gallery yet but I will keep looking!
i looove this!!
a suggestion that may be somewhat off the norm. i know you have done builds based on the zodiac signs. maybe make some based of different tarot cards?
Cave pool!!
I’d love to see a clowncore build 😩
Twisted Mexi has mod that turns off the possessed sims. I didn't get to vote but fingers crossed for Gothic. Did you see we are getting counters, but no stove or fridge? Also unicorn horns yesss still haven't bought the Book Nook kit a nice house I'll have to wait to download. Yep still a thing coffee and ice cream or the popcorn maker. I use the fitness pack corner tub I love it.
I always put a coffee machine in and they are obsessed they literally don’t sleep they just drink coffee😂
I spent forever tryna figure out what outdoor rug you used! Does anyone know which pack it's from😅
Beautiful build!! I was amazed! I find myself struggling with modern houses and came here for inspo!
I really enjoyed this bigger modern build even though I'm a sucker for tiny builds.
With the voted kits I'm really sad it ended up being the medieval castle one as this is probably the most useless build kit to me because it's just too niche.
I was really hoping for the futuristic theme as I thought it might work great on airstream style trailer builds as well as just modern builds.
juice fizzing retail store please 😍
10/10
What do you think about making a house based off of one of the premade rooms you’ve created on tiktok?
I had put my coffee machine into the inventory because my sims keep drinking coffee without doing the works they are supposed to do. Also lots of half drank coffee mugs and stinky bits to clean up. I mean its a lot to handle, the whole house is a mess
My sims NEVER leave the coffer OR tea machine alone i always end up having to remove them >.
Is there anyone else who cant find this build on the gallery??
How do you get tool mod to work from manage worlds? I looked it up and I still can’t get it to work until I have active Sims so I can go into live mode.
It works in build mode with the use of the better build buy mod!
How do you use TOOL in build move? I've never seen anyone say how to do it and I've wanted to know for so so so long and could never find out how :(
idk how to use it but i know its a mod
You said Goth CAS Kit. I heard Goth Casket. 😅😂
This looks amazing, but when I am on the gallery and search your ID it comes up with "no results found"
Is anyone else having this issue? It's happening with lilsimsie as well 🤷
yes I couldnt find it either :(
I couldn't find it either :(
Has anyone found a solution? I found her latest build but not this one sadly.
@@kitti7643 Still not showing up 😭😭😭😭
15:13 WAIT Gryphi, how tall are you?!
New house for the goths. I despise the EA build on it. Yours would be way better
Copied my wife's original work. Everytime my wife builds an original, everyone has no creative ability anymore, and snag her ideas, claiming them as their own.
This was a basic idea I had off two stacked boxes that I created live on twitch last week. If your wife built something similar - that's so cool! But I definitely did not take anyone elses work on this. You can find the livestream of this creation on twitch.tv/gryphi
@nitousinfinitarius1866, that's messed up accusing someone, especially a brilliant creator like Gryphi, of theft. I've seen stacked box houses before, it's not a new thing and anyone can make creations from them.
