Fun fact: Jared began eating at the Subway near his house because he became obsessed with a young teen girl who worked there. He would go in and hang around, make creepy comments etc. She wound up moving stores to avoid him and guess what Jared did? He began walking the 2 miles to her new Subway store each day!! That's how his weight loss TRULY kicked off.

I love how unsympathetic you are about this piece of garbage. My father was a pedophile (who never got jail time but was stabbed to death by his girlfriend thankfully) and I have zero compassion for anybody who sexualizes children or are pedophiles, rapists, or abusers of any kind. I personally believe in the death penalty in those cases. So thank you so much for covering this case and so many others like it. I truly believe in the importance of sharing things like this and informing people, so thanks again. Positive thoughts to you and your family ✌

sorry but the death penalty never works. death penalty is too much of an easy way out and for horrible people like them, they deserve to suffer. solitary confinement at best or castration without any anesthesia. not to mention how long those people are on death row for a decade or more, so they might as well be sentenced for life if they are not going to die anytime soon.

@@DomL562 No it doesn't. That's a myth that predators use to normalize people empathizing with them. Pedophilia is a paraphilia. A fetish. Many paraphilias are chronic. So they are not changeable and lifelong, but MANY MANY people have fetishes. It's only pedos that seem to want to tell the fucking world about them. There are necrophiles and people into bathroom stuff and all kinds of fucked up stuff. But it's the pedos that are the most aggressive with seeking normalization.
Learn what they are doing and learn that giving even an inch allows these people to take a mile. I care much less about some teen boy wanting to rape babies than I do the actual babies.
There are literally people who choose to be virgins for life. Sex isn't a right. Only rapists think that way. Instead of wanting acceptance, not engaging and keeping taking that secret to the grave is the proper action. And doing anything out of that should be swift punishment. People who fetishize rape and murder. Serial killers that fetishize necrophilia... none of them get empathy. So why the child rapists? Think about that for 5 seconds. Would you be leaving the same comment about the teen boy who needed rape/murder to get off?

Imma hit real hard with this one…
Being the fat kid in school doesn’t automatically isolate you from potential friends!
As a former fat kid myself, I knew my obvious physical differences. And sure some people were jackasses about it, but ultimately they didn’t matter (mainly because they’re the same type of kids who get into legal trouble, at least from what I’ve witnessed) I had to decide that if I couldn’t drop the weight, I had to compensate in other ways.
So I learned comedy, I played video games, and built my personality around being open minded to others. Guess what happened; I got friends! Lots of them even!
I’m so tired of this old as hell narrative of the fat kid being synonymous with being a loser! That’s not true; poor attitude and lack of a personality make you a loser!
Therefore, Jared Fogle is a loser because of his crimes, not because he was fat.

I knew Jared personally as a kid. I have lived in Indianapolis my whole life. He often frequented our neighborhood pool in the summer months. I dont know if he actually lived there or not. & He was a jerk to put it nicely. He would lay right at the pools edge to get a good look at us kids, I was probably 9 to 11, and yet so mad when he got splashed. Like there wasn't plenty of sunlight in places further back from the water. It was like we were supposed to just be his kids to look at and nothing else. And he would STARE. Not like most people who sunbath. They lay back, relax, read a book, or take a little nap. NOt Jared. He even tried being all nice to my mom one time and make conversation. She ignored him though because she saw the way he looked at all of the kids. Plus she didn't like the way he had yelled at us before for being kids at the pool. He's total scum.
