    I can’t find a tv stand that will accommodate this tv as the legs are on each end of the tv. I’m getting kind of bummed out bc I bought the tv and have no stand to put it on.

    I know it's not exactly a sound bar, but I hope you guys can review the Sony HT A9 with the (albeit slightly bigger and pricer) subwoofer.

    I just put up an 84 inch projector screen and it's massive but only weighs maybe 30-40 pounds.. I can't imagine trying to move a TV that big.

      The first plasma that I purchased, was a 42", it weighed between 140-150, with the legs. What's even worse is some of the oldest CRT TVs that had a much smaller footprint weighed more than this TV. I think this TV weighs a total of 110 to 120 lb.

    Again, no mention of what kind of tuner it has, and that's 'kinda' important to know with a TV nowadays with the change from ATSC 1.0 to 3.0 in progress. Stations are already broadcasting in the latter yet you, and other reviewers, still don't mention it, nor test the tuners. This was one of the most important tests of TVs in the past and I don't know why it isn't today. Yes, I understand back then it was analog and today it's digital but sensitivity and selectivity still make a difference in whether you get a clean signal or garbage. I've got three modern TVs, two different model Samsungs from one year apart, and a TCL P605. Each one's tuner performs differently. When scanning for channels they all give different #s of results and some can bring in marginal signals and some can't. (That's using the same antenna in the same position and within the time it takes to switch TV's and change connection and switch back and forth.)

    • @RTINGSdotcom
      @RTINGSdotcom  Před 3 lety +4

      We just wanted to say we hear you loud and clear about the inclusion of tuner information. You're not alone in this sentiment and it's obvious that this is important to a fair amount of users. We've been compiling all the feedback/requests into a list of test bench suggestions. So, this will absolutely be something we consider implementing in a future test bench update. Thanks again for being consistent and sharing your thoughts with us! :)

    Plz reply..ty..Which one should I buy for watching movies(no gaming) x80j or x800h ? X80j(android 10,2.1 earc) has 366 nits peak brightness but x800h (android 9)has 504 .much confused. does brightness matter a lot for dolby vision content?

    • @RTINGSdotcom
      @RTINGSdotcom  Před 3 lety +2

      They're both pretty similar overall, but honestly, the edge goes to the X800H. It gets brighter in both SDR and HDR and it has better viewing angles. If you can get your hands on it, go for the X800H!

    • @STI_BobbyfromBeed
      @STI_BobbyfromBeed Před 3 lety

    This one or Sony x91j? Note: im a sucker for brightness and not too technical

    • @RTINGSdotcom
      @RTINGSdotcom  Před 2 lety +1

      The 85" X91J might perform a little different than the model X90J we tested because it's advertised to have the 4k HDR Processor X1 while the X90J uses Cognitive Processor XR. The X91J actually just won our most recent poll though so we bought a unit and started testing it, so stay tuned! :)
