Actually I can defend that statement I am with Alex on this....I reached infinite this season with a galactus deck that had kang and let me tell you it helped a lot especially turn 5 or 6 its definitely underrated
Destroy decks are getting less enjoyable to play each day, due to the fact of this amazing matchmaking.. After trying this deck for 10 games in a row, those 10 opponents were playing also a destroy deck so.. Yeah, fun..
@@TheAlkimizt yea in that matchup it’s definitely better to be playing the classic destroy with death and knull. But everything is better than matching against an ongoing deck with cosmo and armor in infinity conquest

Honestly joking aside poor Kang. It was a xard that everyone hyped to the moon and back before his release. Just to fizzle out so fast that nearly everyone forgets he is in snap. He definitely needs something a rework, a cost drop or something.
I play Nimrod as my go-to and was absolutely floored that, when mentioning what could go there instead of Kang, the correct answer of Iron Lad was never mentioned
I opened Venom 3 days ago and I played for hours with this deck. So much fun!
The fact that SD change so many newly released cards but haven’t buffed/adjusted Kang is hilarious yet kinda sad.
Of course Alex finds a deck for Kang. The only one using him.

Alex keeping my boy Nimrod in the conversation! Nimrod destroy has always been a guilty pleasure for me since he came into the game (actually he was the last season pass I bought because I am a dirty lover of OG Galactus) and the chaos of slamming destroyer and having a board of Nims flying everywhere on turn 6 is so fun.
I wish I had nimrod. The first card I bought with tokens was man-thing and now I want nimrod lol. Definitely not meta cards but they're characters I love. But he is going to be in a spotlight in February so I'll wait till then.
@@JamesJohnsonQ it's all good I'll never get to play with my marvel waifu Elsa at her full potential but I'm still gonna likely waste keys to try and pull her on spotlight rotation just so she ends up in my pool of variants to collect. "Wasted" on Selene as well because I wanted greedy Annihilus junk to be a thing but at least now she can be used in a funky C2 or on reveal list after her recent bump. Sometimes you just gotta give in to the jank gods and get some of the "bad" cards.

I'm so tempted to build this and call it "He Who Remains" which could refer to Kang, Destroyer, or any of the destroy cards that clear their lane.
A kang nimrod destroyer deck. You really are a great creator Alex, truly wonderful content!
I’ve used primarily Nimrod to get infinite for the past 7 seasons. If you want the best version of the deck I would recommend the decklist in the next comment. The whole idea is that you have two game plans. The first: okoye on 2, magik 3, shuri or nakia forge on 4, nimrod 5, destroyer in the nimrod path if possible, zola the destroyer. Beats nearly anything in the game rather consistently. The second: you can gamble for magik, shuri, destroyer, taskmaster. Not nearly as good but 30 power in 2 lanes isnt anything to scoff at. I have been rather happy being the only one who seems to understand Nimrods power so if you use this you are welcome😂

After playing nimrod for a while I would say another sneaky substitute is ghost spider. In case your opponent counters with a cosmo or armor you can yank it from that lane and destroy it after
echo is actually a good sub for kang, helps with a lot of protection issues into the lane you want to shuri/nimrod
If u do play Kang the turn u draw it u actually draw a different card, right?
I was playing two versions of Nimrod Detroyer before the Destroyer buff. One had Goblin, the other had Black Knight. I did not encounter a mirror match since starting playing it. That's probably gonna change after this video.
I used to play a deck almost exactly like this, but it took a big hit with the Chavez nerf. I haven’t really picked it up since.
Edit: Nico is a really good addition to the deck! Being able to draw 2 cards is great for getting nimrod when you otherwise would not have
I like this list with Invis woman and Task master. put invis then shuri in another lane, task master in your invis lane then drop destroyer on shuri. Only like 2 very specific lines beat that.
Best replacement for Nico?
My favotite deck is the destroy deadpool. Can i ask you what are your opinions of the new changed Kazar Budandel in the shop. Do you think it's worth buying for the lowerd 7000 gold?
Nimrod is one of the few series 4 cards I don’t own, and this definitely has me considering picking him up
Get him with tokens or the Feb thanos week. He has his moments
Feb thanos week is your best bet, cull looks good
The only thing about Nimrod is that if your opponent has knull it virtually an automatic loss
Well I was going to play this deck since it seemed fun as a fellow Kang truther, but Altar of Death decided to be the hot location this morning and now everyone is running their other destroy decks full of Deadpool, Sabretooth, Knull and what not. Guess I'll wait lol

I got Kang a month or two ago when he was with High Evolutionary or something. Literally used it maybe 1 time before realizing how absolutely trash it is.
I thought, interesting maybe i can try this deck after the Spotlights with Nimrod and X-23, then i remembert i dont even own Destroyer.

I just plugged this in and made two opponents retreat immediately on the Kang play. Granted I’m only at 50,000 leaderboard but they still peaced out as soon as they saw it.
