We have Costco in the UK too. I love all the tasting stations. Of course we come back loaded with things which were not on the list, so Peter, it is completely normal.

Same. I got chicken liver in the freezer to make pate 😂 No one is fighting me for that. Also my meatless sausage links... The healthier the food the less likely they'll steal it. Though no complaints on my Dave's Killer Bread 😮

Lol You have GREAT a kids because They Are LOVED! Food tips: If you prep carrot and celery the length of a finger, soak them in water, they are ready to be eaten and kids will grabs them quickly to eat just like chips. Food prep with kids can be fun, ask them how to make the food themselves vs eating pre-prepared foods. Making your own ice cream can be fun afternoon active and then they have pride they made the dessert. Also for $50 at Walmart get a Sunbeam dehydrator, Anthony can make beef or chicken jerky (great snack protein), the kids will like fruit dehydrated and the dogs love sweet potatoes slices. Make sure the celery in water stays refrigerated. I was food poisoned at Super China Buffet w crypto sporidium on Easter '08 & my colon was damaged badly.
Yes, I ate veges that sat in water too long at room temp. There are other things also to consider. Check w epidemiology or Google. I spent a week in the hospital.

That’s not bad. At least it’s all food. I have a bad habit of picking up kitchen gadgets, lipsticks, and trinkets that I definitely don’t need. If it’s food I don’t fight about that. We need food to live. It’s a necessity. 💜

If you get tortillas, peanut butter, jelly, fresh fruit, agave syrup, and that granola, it makes a tasty and healthy roll up snack for you and the children 😉
Honestly, that's not healthy, tortilla's- sugar, peanut butter- sugar, jam- sugar, agave, sugar. Granola- sugar, fruit-sugar. Not saying that they won't have some nutritional value but if you want me to explain it more detail let me know. Medical person here.

I would’ve bought two of those. It would save you a lot of trouble for meal prepping. You can always use bits and pieces of another rotisserie chicken to make chicken soup.

So this is coming from someone who is a medical professional and a sugar addict myself and who's also studied nutrition. If you don't buy sugar, the kids can't eat it. If you continue to give them fruit and veggie options, they will eventually prefer that, and when they do have something sweet, it will taste way too sweet for them.
The US has the biggest consumption of any country in the world. And I know that a lot of sugar is put in foods.

I do not know Ryder and Skylar's birth family situation but I do hope that if their parents realize that a foster home such as yours if you and Anthony are willing that it will become Ryder and Skylar's forever home provided that's what they want too?. If that happens those kids would greatly benefit and appreciate being a forever kids of yours? And I am sure you would never let them lose touch with their birth family. 😊

How did you decide to open your home as a foster dad? Especially a single father? Did you always have such a large pantry? Did you know you wanted a family before fostering? Or did that grow with the love for them?
He said he was homeless as a kid and strangers from America helped him and it changed his life. So he wanted to do the same once he came here.
Thank God for him. He clearly loves kids and has dedicated his life to them. I couldn’t do it!!

I have a question for you , how old was Anthony when you brought him into your home. When you adopted him it only is said that he was left at the hospital and so it seems he was left at the hospital as a kid not a baby. I hope that u can tell me because I’m confused. Thank you Peter for everything that you do for these children that I think are very fortunate to have you as their dad for as long as it’s needed.🥰👏🏼
