Exploring Paul Revere Abandoned School - Everything left behind!

Today, I'm in Cleveland Ohio exploring an abandoned school named Paul Revere Elementary. Opened in 1923 the school provided grades K-8, And educated a wide variety of different ethnic backgrounds throughout the years. However as time passed the school became predominantly black and as the declining enrollment numbers grew so did the neighborhood's financial struggles. To put into perspective, In 1970, Paul revere had 1600 students enrolled, But in 2015, there were only 320 students left. Inevitably facing declining enrollment numbers and the district wanting to remodel schools schools to provide a contemporary education, the students and teachers were relocated to a modernized facility and the school was closed in 2015 after 92 years of service. This school has been abandoned for 7 years. A playground once filled with joy and laughter now sits completely forgotten. Scrappers, vandals, and the elements has severely damaged this 99 year old school beyond repair, but there is still hope as plans were made to convert the school into an apartment housing complex. So before that happens join me as I explore the remnants of Paul revere's legacy.
