had same problem with my remote,had to change it,then took me 3hours of to sync the new one to the torpedo! hope they have a better one in the pipeline????
I spent 2 house trying to Sync my Vi remote, no success . The fact that I don't have good instructions doesn't help. Can anyone put up the instructions? Mike Wills
+Mandy Tepania Really ?...How did you cope with using it ? was the battery flat in the remote or Faulty? did the Led reach 30 ? I've just bought one of these and don't want to be dissappointed 30 day trial first so if it does that to me I'm sending it back
The remote faulted after the 30 day trial we couldn't even get them to reason the person we dealt with was Rude crude and undesirable.. they may have been having a bad day..We are probably a one off..we changed the battery etc ..Remotes are not good with a torpedo especially if it dont work!! We did some of our own mending..Use it fully within the 30 days make sure you do it with in 20 Id say!!..Good luck...
The remote is faulty we have changed the batteries..take them out when not in use never dropped it in the water always carry it in a snap lock..the remote itself was faulty when we bought it!! we took it to a computer geek and he fixed it said the wires needed re doing??? and somehow water got into the remote and ceased a few things..???? he dried it in rice put it in the hot water cupboard??? Im not sure how that works but it seems to be going well so far.. stock up on the flags that is what we always seem to loose!!!
I brought one yes i caught fish but that fckn remote is shit sent it bck 5 times with differant problems Gave up and brought a sea house with self navigation just point and go. I use the sea harvester winch the rest is shit.
Take NOTE!! the remote will be the biggest problem once that goes your pretty much got a dead deal!! unless you can put a motor on the harvester !! or Fix or replace the remote!!!
may as well get a seahorse or predator or gt JUST NOT THIS i fish the west coast all the time with my seahorse and ever time i see one of theirs i go 500 to a k down the beach instead of 250 to 350 down because the remotes lost the singel before its goin throe the brakers and heads down the beach and cause proloms with my kites an kontkis that are crap and most people dont know what their geting in to or know what there doing because the instruction dont tell them the rules or the truth.
