2:19 “I think my decision point is to kind of bet or check alot of the time” yeah rampage those are the options you have in poker 😂😂😂
He could open fold 😩😂
@@joshsheppard21 my favorite move in the game
Love to see you back home Ethan! Glad to see it went well
Awesome. Love flopping quads.
Every draw didn't miss tho, 79 of hearts just hit a straight. Which is definitely a hand that would bet and call your check raise.
He better be careful saying he had the hand won before the river. Any broadway heart (and 9h) makes a royal/straight flush. Although extremely unlikely, it's VERY possible.
@@JasonEmerson711 lol beta
@ 17:30, the dealer flipped your card up, and showed the #1 seat.
Saw that as well, what a scumbag
I don't think...he just looked himself....maybe
Loving the constant uploads Ethan! Keep it up mate
Nice run Ethan! I went to Encore twice pre-pandemic, and in my experience, Boston seems to be a pretty call-happy city. I do wish they'd reduce the rake and open the poker room 24/7. Oh, and some more tables would be nice too; I hear the waitlist can get 100 people deep.
Great vlog! Glad you could film--Good Job Boston Encore! Extended playing hours (beyond 8:00 p.m.) would be nice.
Ethan there is something wrong with the mic the past few vlogs. When you are describing the hands it sounds scratchy and muffled. Not very clear. Hope you can fix this.
It was awesome meeting you at Encore! Was waiting for this vlog to see what you had when you overbet 2k on the river. I hope you come back soon so I can play on the same table as you next time!! Hit me back with that follow on ig!! Legend🙏🏻
Yes sir! Officially an awesome day! Banger Nation! Can't wait to see what's next
Always enjoy the content!! 10d10c hand only one 1 flush draw gets there on the turn card. No biggie. Thanks for posting.
This was an awesome poker scene for like the six months it was actually open
Nice work, bro. Love the videos.
as always. entertaining. Goodluck on your nxt game ethan. from Philippines
For the AQ hand you could check the turn with everything but flushes for value and straight draws with a club for bluffs.
Nice work overall 🔥🔥🔥
Cheers from India brother man!! love ur vlogs, and still trying to learn..loll..keep up the good work!! rather hard work..
Always good to play poker back at home ground.
Quad are always good to have 🤟🏽
I like the check call on the A10 nut hand. You hit and make the max and miss you can get away
Poker room that closes at 7:30 are you kidding me? That is when most people are just showing up at most poker rooms.
Good hand with the AQ nut flush 💪🏽
I like the check and I like the bet on turn with the AcQh. Merits for both lines.
Good playing!keep it up.
Good morning Ethan. It’s 1A.M. and I’m up already. Nothing to do but watch your video. It’s nice to wake up with a new video up loaded already. Very nice beginning of the session with AJ. Wow, very nice flopped with pocket 88. Happy to see your bluff went through. Maybe you have the best hand after all. Nice hand to end the session. See you on the next video. Peace🌹
Nice session Ethan.
Love how you got those bluffs through, reping big hands with big bets, against the guy you made fold two pair vs ur quads. That's some good poker right there.
With how long the guy took to make the fold and saying he had K 10 top two pair, if Ethan bets pot instead of 2X pot the guy is priced in to make the call more especially in a paired board.
Check out hustler stream where this clown tried those moves n got slaughtered for 150 k and he kept adding on chips after each idiotic bluff as his draws never came ....
One of my biggest leaks.. calling on the river on double checked run out.... so frustrating
miss this place so bad
Nice job to come back from up, then down, to finish up 1500. Gotta love it. Keep upticking and that solid WSOP bankroll will be there :)
I would not have overbet that large with quads, maybe an overbet by 100$ or something, but not that large.
I would’ve bet 800-1000$
This clown is not a thinking player ...
He's blocking almost all of the guy's calling range (no trips). And if the guy is slow-playing TT or KK, he will raise any river bet anyway. So yeah.
I hate these commercials in your vlog. I hope you get paid well for them. I pay for CZcams premium so I don’t have to hear them.
I love the content though and appreciate your efforts in bringing us entertaining videos weekly. If that’s the price to see your videos then I understand. Keep up the good work.
I think the check on the turn is what set things up for you to do so well on the river when you had AQ... not sure I'm a fan of the river check/raise shove, maybe a min-raise to be sure you get a few more chips.
He is not a thinking player just bingo clown who is " hoping to bink the turn or the river " in 70 % of his hands he plays .
U don’t suck Ethan it is a learning lesson so you shouldn’t make same mistake again keep your head up 💪🏽
I watch a lot of Vlogs yours is the best for content Braveheart poker the best for the graphics both you guys are the bomb
That last pot, villain definitely hit a king on the turn and was trying to get some cheap showdown
*in a spot that you can certainly fold* “well certainly can’t fold here”
its yooo boiiii rammmpunts!
What poker room closes at 7.30pm? Never heard of that...
Welcome to Massachusetts, the most gambler unfriendly place in the world 🤣😂🤣
@@chrisleos1235 That totally sucks
I totally agree. So bizarre
@@jenniferalter6874 Massachusetts does not want anything interfering with it's precious lottery, they squeeze every dime out of the casinos, they won't allow sports betting, even though all neighboring states have it, they abolished horse and dog racing, it's so obvious the politicians have their hands out collecting from anyone wanting favors, totally corrupt 🤕
Not only does it close early but it's only open Mon-Thu.... closed Fri-Sat+Sun 😮
lol at 17.30 the dealer looks at your mucked cards,,,outrageous
I saw the same thing
I probably would have bet the turn with AQ. Top pair, flush draw....... it’s easy to armchair QB tho. Great content, as always Ethan!
Flew from Maine to LV this weekend and saw you firing in the $1700.00 / million dollar guarantee. Best of luck man.
A6 hand. I think you wanna lead there. Rep the Q. If he calls. Double barrel that turn. If he calls then. Likely give up on riv
You’re gonna be able to push off all pairs below the Q.
I think if you could go back you’d likely play like that
Thanks Ethan, as usual great content.
Just wondering, how would you play hands like Q9o,KTo,78s,etc,i.e. hands that are good but not super premium,pre-flop early position (say UTG or UTG+1)?
Opening seems a bit ambitious but folding seems a bit too tight.
Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!
i’m not ethan but personally id either limp in or raise to $25/$30 just to fold some weaker hands
Hey Rampage Ive been a fan for years and I remember you walking out to your car on late rainy evenings after being stacked at 1-2, 2-3 etc. It's amazing to see how far you have come. To play that many awesome and interesting hands in just 3.5 hours is pretty sick. I am always rootin for you my man ! Good luck to you. Have a great weekend.
Awesome vlog but let’s get it !!! And surprise your old poker room closes at 730 pm
Besides that loving your content bud and can’t wait for more have a great Thursday and have a great weekend rampage
I've heard they want to get rid of poker altogether but have to keep it by law. My understanding is they close it early to open up parking for slot/table game players.
@@chriss1034 ohh I see
BRO I thought this was Encore off rip!! please do a poker event there thatd be fire
great video
Any winning session is a good session.
17:31 The dealer looked at your mucked cards
Yeah buddy!
Solver says check that aq could also bet small
Poker is a lot easier to play when not stressing on money
I've seen 3 pocket quad 8s this week so weird
Ok, i love your videos, your a legend. Lets get that out of the way. But shouldn't the strategy be (on quad 8s) to just bet maybe $500 on the river? I can't see how betting 2000 makes any sense. Id rather him call a $1 dollar bet then fold on a $2000 double the pot size bet when i know i just cant lose. Hes never going to raise there on a 2k bet, only if he has a full house, i think its not the best strategy, but open to debate. Keep up the great work Ethan.
Definetly he's probably looked at Garrett overbet rivers and thinks he can get away with it without actually doing that often as a bluff... Garrett sets up these plays. You can't just overbet with quads and expect to get paid. 2x pot is just wayy too much anyways, not worth the risk to call unless you really don't wanna get bluffed.
But you don’t have to show in that case, which plays in your favour
You have to c-bet 100% of the time as the preraiser with the A6 spades hand. You at least want to see where you're at..just my opinion
2nd hand A6s: I would've c-bet maybe 1/3-1/2 pot on the flop reping Qx and, if called, bet 1/2 -1 pot on the turn with possibility of drilling 6 or A on the river. Q, 6, 2, 7 unlikely in CO range unless CO raised with AQ, QK.
Quad 8s: thought the overbet on the river was polarising. the opponent would only be bluff catching. thought a value bet of pot size would be more likely to get called and would give the opponent a chance to bluff. overbet takes that chance away. if the opponent missed a draw we would want them to bluff.
“bink i think”...😂
On the pocket 10s hand, did the flush really get there and the graphics were wrong? Or was it really the 3 of Spades on the board? No bearing on anything I’m just curious.
Maybe raise for value with the quads and instead of monster over bet as his top 2 pair may have been more willing to call a $1K raise rather than the 2 dimes. Just a thought
My thoughts exactly.
I agree with the VP below😉; why does a poker room in one of America's coolest cities, close at 7:30pm?
On the quads hand you say that every draw misses, but surely 97 gets there on that board? Obviously an unlikely hand for the villain to have, but just thought I’d mention it! :)
He could’ve easily had 97 hearts. Another horrible play by rampunt. But that’s expected
I love poker.
Lmao these pot overbets
HOLD UP why did the dealer look at your hand @ 17:31????
I'm kinda surprised because you haven't been using a card protector lately.
That 2x over bet was like only getting called by a boat lol should have just potted it imo
4:15 pm, first hand.
4:44 pm, second interesting hand.
Yeah, I think I'll stick to 8 tabling online 😅
What part of Boston are you from? Ive never been to Encore. I heard the poker room is terrible and the rake is outrageous.
Yeah yeah yeah….win that money
Lol you sound like you flopped a boat vs his quads
Bet or check alot of the time? Hmmmm..🤔 wonder what the 3rd option is?
Last hand felt like pocket 10s I guess
I don’t know what other hands he 3 bets with that didn’t have you beat there I guess maybe AK but you wouldn’t think he would check that on the turn
Hilarious that the money management ad shows up right after you punt away 450. I'll watch your poker, but I'll handle my own investments, thank you very much. 😎🤦
Did rampage say in beginning that the poker room at encore closes at 730pm? What kind of lame hours is that? Lol
"I SUCK AT THIS GAME" Hey! that's my line, I'm going to patent it.😁👍
For me I shouldn't check raised on quad 8 turn, and I will raise small amount in the river, maybe opponent will check raised
hi, i was in boston over the memorial day weekend, wanted to play some poker at the encore, their poker room is closed on weekends? what a bummer, why would u close a moneymaker like that on the biggest weekend of the year? just dont understand the logic
Opponent with 2-pair facing a huge overbet by our hero - "I think I'm probably beat here. Fold". Our hero with a pair of 6's and 3 overcards on the board - "I think I'm ahead most of the time. Call."
Dude it’s WSOP time…people who are watching poker vlogs are all watching World Series updates
I assumed you meant 4 am. What kind of poker room closes at 730 pm??
Chasers while you’re home?
Can I ask you question sir ? 😊Is there have baccarat table ?
7:30 7-9 got there
2000 a bit too much. Probably should do around 1200
why does the poker room close so early?
“i hate my life”...😂
Experiment with an over bet….. how many times do you have to over bet your strong hands for it to no longer be experimenting.
22:34 for the numbers
0:00 for the start of the vlog
So glad I found your comment, I couldn’t see where the start of the vid was
I know it’s really difficult man, glad I could help
A poker room that closes before 9 in the evening?
What kind of poker room closes at 7:30?
Why does the poker room close so early?
Brother man. I love ya.but that A7 call was donk city
Why does a casino poker room close at 7:30p at night?? Lol
Wait did you say a king high board doesn’t hit your 3 betting range very often??????
6:00 flop quads
That A6 v AJ was as bad as it gets bro
From a miserable call to life advice. Amen
You've mistaken when you had pocket 10s. There was not 2 flush draws on the turn.
Played very bad your hand with pocket king, easy fold there in that spot
I think it's funny how many vloggers try to talk themselves into a call thinking the opponent is bluffing... happens all the time...
