No. Don't say that. It demonstrated the insane skill level of Jordan. He was no longer the best athlete on the court but he was fu**ing crafty. And the eroded athletic ability of a forty year old man really accentuated that. That is the legacy of the year he played for the Wizards.

Although the Bulls were a great team, but just like e Ali, Jordan transcended the sport and took basketball all over the world.
I did missionary work in poor countries in Eastern Europe just after communism had fallen and was surprised that all the kids were crazy about Jordan and NBA and playing basketball everywhere.

The Chicago Bulls are DEFINITELY a Dynasty built by Jordan. The Chicago BULLS RULED THE NINETIES. I'm guessing that if Jordan never retired in 1993 The Bulls would probably have 8 Championships. 91,92,93,94,95,96,97 and 98. It's a shame that The Bulls DYNASTY broke up by 1999. Jordan and Pippen still had a lot of game left in them. The Chicago Bulls and the rest of The NBA are STILL RIDING THE JORDAN WAVE well into 2019. People are STILL talking about Jordan. People are still comparing new SUPERSTAR players to Jordan. People are STILL buying Michael Jordan merchandise, especially his famous AIR JORDAN NIKE'S! People are still watching Jordan's most amazing games on CZcams, talking about him and wishing he was still in The NBA. It is hard to explain someone like Michael Jordan. A person like him comes along just once and we will never see anything like him again, ever. I think the closest we have ever seen to Jordan so far has been Kobe Bryant.

Kobe or Jordan?... LeBron or Jordan?... Who ever is next or Jordan?... The one after that or Jordan,...next one or Jordan?...
He will be hard to surpass unless the league rules are indiscreetly catered to building a dynasty around a very talented player...Even more so than Lebron or the Warriors.

The kids today, who never saw Jordan play, will never understand. They talk about LeBron, Kobe, etc. but fail to realize that without MJ, there would be no Kobe or LeBron. Michael changed they way people played basketball. He also had a profound effect on our entire coulture in this country; baggy shorts, Nike, the entire sneaker business in general. Just think, it's been 19 or so years since he retired as a Wizard and people still camp out in front of stores when a new Air Jordan is released. Do you think in 20 years people will be lining up to buy the LeBron's..??? Absolutely not. MJ is basketball, MJ is the reason the entire sports industry is what it is in the country, and pretty much the entire world. His legacy is profound, untouchable and forever. You couldn't make this guy in a lab, he's one of a kind and we should all be greatful that we were able to see him play. Those days, that entire era in the NBA was the Pinnacle in my book.
