Even in the show Raditz was shown as a lesser Sayan compared to Vegeta and Nappa. He was the wake up call Goku and Piccolo needed to train beyond the levels of humans and each other. Maybe they protray this in every game. Raditz was unbearable to fight in every Budokai up to the Tenkaichi's. This has always been the case but doesn't it feel good when you finally beat him?

Indeed, Deathstroke was no joke.
And I wasn't laughing either when after narrowly beating him my save file got corrupted a month later and booted me back to right before the fight.

I can't believe there would come a day when I would struggle against freaking raditz lmao.
It really is the hardest fight in the game because efficient grinding isn't available at that point. I found that being at level 5 makes the fight easier.
It was killer because I was at level 4
@@dudzman3 i did With Level 4 too, i had to do hin 4 Times until i was able to Beat hin basically Spamming circle and finishing With Triangel the whole time.
For any people stuck on this fight: You can buy healing items from the grocer at the village where the Nam side mission is. They’re almost required here but I don’t think the game ever says how to actually use them, only how to set the key binding for them
Raditz is officially the strongest person in Dragon Ball.
This fight is so freaking frustrating this is my 15th try already.

Good to know everyone struggled with Raditz in DBZ Kakarot. Was beginning to think I was losing my edge with playing fighting games. I've played fighters since UMK3, Killer Instinct, Bloody Roar and Street Fighter EX+@. I know Kakarot is an action-RPG but it has fighting game elements. Loving the game so far. Hopefully, it will get better after this. -Tom

Also when Raditz does the purple spam blasts. You can go behind him and strike him by pressing up movement and A/X (Dash)

I spent hours on this mission and once I found the health potion I passed the first try 😂
He was almost beatable at level 3, but I grinded to level 5 just to be safe and beat him first try. When he becomes enraged is the most annoying part, you can't do anything but block or dodge so you're guaranteed to take damage, sometimes over half a bar.

bro it was so infuriating when he becomes enraged there's literally nothing you can do I had him like 500 hp but then he just does a guaranteed like 1000 damage cause all you can do is block

Was super excited to play when I got ot for 80$, played & loved most other dbz games. When I got home and lost to the first guy. RADITZ of all people to lose against for hours. HOURS. Put the game back in its case and haven't touched it in almost a year ! I always wondered if it put other people off playing it

so refreshing I'm not the only one who struggled with raditz lol. this was super helpful! I only used the dashing his double Sunday double beam thing and ate the food to heal me in the end which saved me! I didn't even know I could access that with my D PAD! Thanks so much it was a help!

I came from Xenoverse 2..over to Kakarot. When I got to this fight I really thought I was just gonna have to put the game up bc things to yoo advanced. Came in the comments and I am super happy that I'll be able to still connect with my late-cousin, who loved DBZ. Playing this game for him!
Set the Vitadrink to your pallete and buy a few from the food shop. Also,Korin is nearby to talk to and has a free Energy supplement to also add to the pallete.

Also if you think it's hard on PS4/Xbox then you should try on PC where you have to "break" your fingers by holding V and with same hand click 1,2,3,4 etc usually just misclicking alot while trying use the super skills ending up in using short range skills while you're far away and opposite and moving your hand from WSAD making you unable to move when you're doing the attacks.
Guess it's time to install "Fatal1ty Key Master" that is available for my mobo, maybe it's not as useless after all.

Stuck on this for about an hour, with breaks. Such a pain! Enjoying the game so far, however I thought the side quests on Roshi’s island weren’t very interesting and seemed a bit like padding.
I won the 2nd try after i used the
"vita min " power up you get.
It seems you can't exit out of the fight once you started it so im glad i binded that item before hand on the tutorial

I've never played a game where they start you against a boss like this that you were expected to beat. Following the natural story flow you'd fight him severely under leveled against his spamming. And the grinding to level up to make it fair took like two hours. But I'd say grinding until your level 6 is better than trying to beat him at 3 or 4.

Good strategy I beat him no prob after watching this. He’s a tough fight but you really need to save that healing item. The game is good and the fighting is awesome really feels like you are playing through the show which is cool.

Finally beat him this morning! Collect many Z orbs.. Sell items for money. Buy vitadrinks. Fight those stupid robots until you reach level 5. He was easier to fight at 5. Keep him close so his hits don’t do too much damage and so you can tire him out faster! Instant transmit repeatedly and go up and down during his sundae. After your combos hit him with the Kamehameha
I used vitadrink on the first fight, then had to reload my last save after losing 5 or more times

You don't have to fight him right away. Go to the village and surrounding area and do side quests to level up and farm some fish and buy lots of vita drinks.
