Hi, I am from Sri Lanka, in my country we eat passion leaves too. We prepare it as a salad by cutting it in to very thin and tiny pieces, and adding coconut, lime, salt and chopped green chillies. It is good for controlling high blood pressure.

My plant's flower is a mixture of white and purple just like yours. Is it purple or yellow passion fruit?
Also how long do I have to wait before picking the fruits? Will I be able to ripen it after picking from the vine unmatured? I made a big mistake and plucked out 13 fruits thinking they have matured. But I was wrong. I cut open 3 of them and the seeds are not yet black and it is bitter. Please reply... is there any way to ripen it?
You must let them fall naturally for optimal ripeness. They do not ripen off the vine. Good luck!

I have passion fruit trees in my garden, but I plant from seeds.
From seeds, it takes *10 months* to bear fruit.

백향과는 하우스재배로 하시는게 가장 좋습니다.
동남아처럼 따듯한 환경으로 키워야하며
하우스가 없다면 집안에서 키웠다가 가장 따듯할때 밖에서 키우는 방법도 있습니다. 꽃이 피면 붓이나 손으로 수정을 시켜주셔야 열매를 볼 수 있으니 참고하시면 좋습니다. 이쁘게 키우세요~^^

@@denisaco Yeah, I have done that too but no result. Now I have planted another passion fruit plant few months back and it started bearing fruit. The old one is still in the same condition even after pruning. Thank you for your reply.
