Couple of tips. The hammer heads elevator can be opened from outside. Just hover over it and press f. If you park your ship just above the rear turret it is possible to yank the cargo right off the hammer head elevator whilst standing in your cargo area. Caterpillar's cargo is usually in the first of the main cargo section. Parking outside the doors you can do the same as before yank the cargo directly into your ship. Starfarer i like to have my ship at right angles vertically downwards compared to the Starfarer hold, that way when in EVA i can yank the cargo out and turn down to push it straight into my ship. Time is money. Doing one single tractor beam operation and good placement of your ship will save a lot of time.
This is a classic in 3.19. I got almost all my fleet with this method. Maze its love XD. Thanks a lot for the amazing work Lord, like you say always, stay save in the verse ;)

I would just like to add if you you do this method during the jumptown event you can sell the maze to the nearest station to the jumptown event, for about 160k instead of the standard 90k.
I've taken 6 of these missions at Yela, and the spawn rate for crates so far is 3/6. Playing on "Best," which I assume means US for me. Going to try Hurston next.
Interresting...out of all contracts that I took only once I didn't get the boxes. It was US server and around Hurston. Usually I play on EU and always around Yela since I can connect these contracts much faster. If you go to Hurston, your contracts will be around Hurston moons so you will loose some travel time but if you get the cargo every time then it is wort trying.
Yes, you need a Vulture or Reclaimer. In case you don't have Vulture you can hijack an NPC Vulture. You have a guide video link on how to hijack a Vulture in description section of this video. Hope this helps.
U make not as much money/h as simple hauling, but it's an alternative option to that A->B, A->B, A->B hauling, which is a bit boring. Thank you for this nice video, but you forgot to explain one point: What do I need to complete the 1000 and 5000 salvage missions for getting the personal 30k missions? Do I need a Vulture for that? Or multi-Tool is enough for filling the progress bar? Or do I need to buy or rent (renting possible?) the vulture?

You will need a Vulture and in case you don't have one, there is a video in my description section with a guide on how you can hijack an NPC Vulture and use it to unlock Personal 30K contracts. So, you can try that. And yes, you need to actually make full salvage of these ships since it is not enough to just take a contract and then abandon them. After that you will unlock 30K ones. But u missed the point, what equipment (ships, etc...) you need to finish the general missions. I did the 1k and 5k with a multi-tool.... this took me hours. Of course. So, in these Personal Salvage missions you want to take all illegal stuff like Maze, Slam, Widow, E'Tam and Neon and you can sell that on Brios Braker Yard or on CRU L4 space station which is more safer option. If you want to take legal stuff then Quantanium is your best choice. You can sell Quantanium on Grimhex or in any TDD on major planets like Hurston, Microtech, ArcCorp or Orison. That is why is the best to take 30K personal salvage mission on Yela, because Brio Breakers Yard, Grimhex and Cru L4 are very close so you can easily sell your stuff. Hope this helps!

You need to make sure that you salvage ships completely when doing these 1k missions to unlock better one. Scrap the ships hull until the bar on the top is completely empty. Then you abandon the mission and take another contract. Your contract will not be complete until you scrap the hull completely.

@@tinejancar642 yeah, they sure need a lot of time to make all these tools for everything they plan to do. All we can is hope that these tools will bring and speed up the process eventually. Once one system is done as it should be, then adding new system will be much easier and faster, but the question is how long they need to actually make that one system(Stanton) as it should be with all these mechanics implemented. Me personally still enjoy it even in a current state. Still gives me way more fun then some other finished games that I play and played in past. Will see what future brings!

I can see the 5k ones in the legal tab but i done several 10k ones in the personal tab and still don't see any 30k available. By the way, have you tried the 30k ones after last update and are they still worth it? See you.
Hi there, to unlock personal 30K missions you need to take legal 20k mission first. After you make one legal 20k mission you will unlock personal 30K missions but they are not worth doing since there is no illegal cargo anymore. Unfortunately they have removed all illegal cargo from personal 30K salvage missions.

@@Bombastic0013 There actually is a decent amount of gold, quantanium, sometimes even bexalite and taranite. All that you can sell in any TDD around major cities or you can sell on Grimhex for little lower price. I did a couple of tests with these legal missions and you need to take only ones with C2, A2, M2, Starrunner 50k missions. They have enough cargo for you to return your 50k investment plus you will earn some extra! Will probably make a video about that gameloop soon.

No, for these first 2-3 legal salvage mission you first need to scrap the whole hull of the ship until the fill up bar dissapear, then you need to abandon contract and you will unlock new more expensive contracts.
Classic. I can smell the nerf coming for 3.20 on thoses salvage loot. By the way, it is safer (to me) to go sell the loot at CRUL4, in the locker room.
I am using Anvil Valkyrie, one of my favorite ships beside Drake Herald and Anvil Terrapin which are my daily drivers depending what type of mission I do.
Actually you only need 30k for start and a lot smaller ship than Valkyrie. For example you can use Drake Cutter, Aegis Titan, Freelancer, Cutlass Black or any other ship that has at least 4SCU of cargo space and do only one run. For invested 30k you will get back around 120K if you are doing this contract around Yela. I did it like 12 times every single ship had Maze, Slam, Widow and Quantanium. For example regular 20k contracts are not viable, tried that yesterday but I discovered something else and earned TON of money, more on that in the next video ;). But these Personal 30K are a gold mine currently. Make sure that you only do Caterpillars, Hammerheads and Starfarer around Yela! With 2 or three solo runs you will be able to take like 5-6 contracts at once with bigger cargo ship.
For fun? Earn money to buy and try ships in game so that you don't need to buy them for real money? Again, for fun? We all have our reason why play Star Citizen. I am trying to enjoy with what we currently have in game the best that I can. I will try to create aditional gameplay for myself whenever I can. We have what we have and I am hoping for the best in future. There are rough times but for me there are good times too. Until I am having fun, I will support this project.

Why go to Brio's with quantainium in hold when you can sell it first to TDD without risk?
Yeah, now I sell quantanium at Cru L4 or Grimhex but lately I just avoid taking quantanium so that I can sell all at one place. Usualy salvage yards.

I misspoke. The value of the cargo in the ships is 1000-2000 auec, but I have got the solution I just haven't solved the 30k missions yet

I didnt quite understand, I see the ones that cost 1k I've done them 5 times only one has had actual cargo and im not getting any new ones for 5k
