Before this DLC, the Dimetrodon was the oldest animal in JWE2 because it lived during the Permian, millions of years before the Mesozoic began. However, since Dunkleosteus lived during the Devonian, which was millions of years before the Permian, that now makes Dunkleosteus the oldest animal in the game.

W facts oh by the way to be more specific were dunkleosteus lived it lived in the late Devonian and the aquatic parts of Tennessee sense yk half of Tennessee was under water
I love that the aquatics now have social interactions. It is very cool and makes them more live. I do have to say, there is one surprising thing in the free update and that is between T.Rex and Spino. Trust me, it is awesome when you see it James.

to give an idea of the damage a dunkleosteus us capable of, think snapping turtle, anything in that mouth, it is taking it. plus the fact is the suction force from it opening its jaws means it will try to pull you in before slicing you to pieces. its even theorized that even if you'd be wearing chain mail, it would still slice clean through it

With the rocks for the aquatic enclosures, this opens the gates for other prehistoric animals like Koolasuchus, Sarcosuchus, and a lot others

The dunkles shark biting animation is insane! Has anyone ever seen those videos of trout jumping out of the water to grab bugs? That is what it looks like, just much scarier.

I would love an animation of the quetzal trying its best to attack the Archelon by lifting it, But instead, it only drags it half midair for a sec, and lets it go due to how heavy Archelon is.
you know I was always so fascinated by Nothosaurus as a kid, mainly cus I have a book with it being the first page, and Im so glad this thing is in the JW franchise now.

Hey man, just like to say that you were my childhood. I used to watch your Jurassic work videos when I was 6-8 years old and I had a craze for dinosaurs. I used to read encyclopaedias, play Jurassic world and at one point my dad went to Harvard to buy a book from there. I outgrew it once I reached 10 years old and I kinda forgot you for a while until I got into ark survival and Dinos a bit and then you popped up at my recommendation. Soo yea thanks for being a part of my childhood :)
Shonisaurus and Dunkleosteus will attack the Mosasauris, Shoni body slams while Dunk goes for the tender flank. They'll also attack each other. Archelon is completely immune to being attacked.

They should make a feature where semi aquatic animals, when hunted, can run onto the rock to escape temporarily
*PLEASE* do a video for the Spinosaurus! It has a new hatchery scene, slightly better posture and the iconic JP3 kill animation. Spino fans are eating good for this update.
Now... if they can get to the size and muscle mass update that's be perfect!
The new creatures look absolutely awesome I like the change of directions with the dunkleosteus and archelon, being slightly more accurate then other animals 👍😄

Beaver, just to let you know you had it backwards with the new Dunk research, they beefed up the head a bit and massively shortened the body, it probably looked a lot more like a piranha than it did a shark
Glad to see this comment, I was going to say something similar. The main body of this Dunk looks like they stretched it out to be much longer than it should be, even going by the old size estimates. They basically went in the reverse direction to the new data. As far as I can tell from the available info, Dunk had a body shaped much more like a barrel rather than a torpedo.

I like the reference to camp cretaceous with the Nothosaurus introduction with Cabot talking about it showing up in sewers and elevators

Hello I have been playing Jurassic world the game and I finally got indominis rex level 20😊
there's a large fresh water turtle called stupendemys I would argue that its larger than archelon but no by weight probably had a long neck
when that sea monsters music kicked in with the Archelon made it feel so good lol

The marine prehistoric creatures were pretty awesome an amazing nice video
To be honest I'm kinda disappointed with the Archelon, everything else is cool, but the exeption is that they don't have a special Feeder just for them, like Sea Grass, Kelp, or even Jellyfish
They probably weren't herbivores but yeah.

When you switched to the laggon viewing doodad for the first time, i was legitimately filled with a sense of awe, as if i was in a real Jurassic Park. Kudos to the game Devs

They need to add regular small fishes in the pool to make it not feeling so empty, The sea reptile looks like they're swimming on sunday morning without the smaller fishes.
