Finding my art style after over 10 years | find your art style, being authentic, struggles with art

I struggled with finding my "art style" for over 10 years, but here's what I did in the end. And, maybe some tips to help you find yours too.
This video really hit close to home because this was such an impactful struggle I felt as an artist. For so long, I was never happy with my art and had no idea how to make it feel authentically me. Little did I know, it really was as simple as just finding what makes me happy. And once that settled in, all the puzzle pieces finally came together.
I think as artists, it's so easy to fall into trends. While it's not a bad thing to follow them or find inspiration, it's easy to get lost in the sea of other artists. I was one of those artists that got lost and was always confused as to why nothing ever felt personal. But, through lots of self work and probably more confidence in myself and my opinions, I'm proud to say I finally feel connected with my art.

I’m still finding my art style but it’s actually been fun for me to rediscover myself and discover what I like to create as an artist especially after a difficult 2 years after my bad mental health.
