  • This week we're looking at the Relief Valve on our Fire Engine. Specifically, we are going to answer three questions:
    1. WHY do we have a relief valve?
    2. HOW does the [mechanical] relief valve work?
    3. WHEN should we be using the relief valve?
    Next week we will look at How to properly set the Relief Valve along with tips on actively managing your Relief Valve on the fire ground.
