Hey guys, it’s always interesting to see other fencers’ ways of doing things. I’m constantly learning from videos like this from all over the world. I’ve been fencing for about 15 yrs now, here on Vancouver Island.

I'd love to see some map infographics of where the works are taking place in the videos. Great as always.

Absolutely beautiful job. But I wonder what the extra cost per linear m would be to dig the rabbit proofing into the ground - traditionally 300mm or so. It would be fun to have a control area to see what the difference is between highly protected transplants and lesser protected. A mate of mine Graham Patten remembers you from "O" days sends his regards

Thanks Rupert. Not sure on costs but I imagine significantly more as a lot would have needed to have been hand dug and there were some other constraints.
Agree a control area would have been interesting to have but the grants don't allow for that and if we'd paid for our own it would have been very small so unlikely to have provided any meaningful comparison.

I’m enjoying your series. However, I wonder if I will live long enough to actually see a tree planted.

Haha yes it's certainly taken a lot longer than we expected. Check out the latest video though to see the actual planting.
