Lyrics:
I fucking hate myself
'Cause my words just curse and sentence life to death
Here we go again
Losing all my breath
Distorting the truth
To lie to you again
Stuck in this hole
Where no one will ever go
Have to find somewhere else
With someone else's
Whiter fences
As if to annoy you
On purpose just cause I can
Here we go again
Losing all my breath
Disconnect from them
To side with you again
If I go down
I'm taking the world with me
As if to ignore you
On purpose just because I can
Black and white has never been so right
Black and white has never been so bright
Oh, the silence guts me
It eats me alive
Looking for a ladder
To climb to her level
#TheFallOfTroy
The way Thomas describes the pain, annoyance and suffering that goes on through a panic attack is purely genuine and authentic. I suffer from panic disorder so I couldn't imagine being to write a song during a panic attack.
My favorite band ever
My man
Incredibly underrated album
Fall of Troy’s catchiest song since F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. Great track from this era.
You've never really listened to their other stuff have you?
@@CTTFog I have. I’ve listened to their whole discography, thank you very much.
@@CTTFog thinking he meant radio/mainstream/guitar-hero catchy..
@@CTTFog looool ok redditor

Bandota 🤘
This album is arguably their Crack the Skye. Not necessarily their best, but a worthy contender not withstanding the mellowness.
this song is so fucking good
Imagine pour your heart and soul into the meaning of a song or a entire album,
and then going into the comments section to see that no one heard anything
And all there is, are comments from
egotistical hyper critical asshole's
saying shit like
great song mid album,
best shit sense the old shit you did,
great job hate your album keep up the good work.
Edit
14 Comments wtf was I reacting to?
Imagine you pour your heart and soul out, making a meaningful album.
You get a record deal, and you check one of your song's pages on the record company CZcams channel.
It has 20k views and the comment section is so small that some Fa-ck'in Italian Ass Rat.
Mistakes your fanbase for a Bigger Bands more toxic fanbase.
no you were absolutely right, CZcams disabled comments on every song posted by a Topic channel, but recently re-enabled them due to backlash. before these new comments it was a bunch of people shitting on the ITUE album and claiming this was the only good song off it when I truly believe they haven't listened to any of the other songs since the first time they did, if they ever even did.
@@uffy its definitely a band that grows on you really well, i listened to manipulator and wasnt a huge fan until relistening a few times, now this is one of my favorite bands ever.
Alright fuck me. Let me explain. When I first ran through S/T, Doppleganger, Ghostship EP/POTH, and Manipulator I was like how the hell did they not get anymore popular? So hearing this song for the first time, then the rest of the album.. at first I was like wtf. I came to this song and posted that comment a YEAR ago. Fast forward and I decided to dive in one more time like I did with Manipulator (cause on my first run I only liked AMAPCP). Yeah I was wrong, the albums really good, don't know why 17-18yr old me didn't fw it but I guess it was because I didn't explore post-hardcore outside of The Fall of Troy yet around this time and only thought Doppelgänger was their best.
Now (Im writing this while I should working on my finals essay in college lol.) I can firmly rank TFOT since I've listened to everything all together, over and over again, then exploring the other bands and coming back.
S/T
Manipulator
Doppelgänger
OK
Ghostships EP/POTH
ITUE
Mukiltearth
(in no way am I saying any of these are worser than the other, I'm ranking it by what I go back to more often than not.) Learned this song was legit about a Panic Attack when watching Thomas's twitch vods during covid on his YT page, then also learned that he didn't really like this album as much since the trio at the time (w/o Tim Ward and replaced with Frank Ene from 'Of Stalwart Fads') knew that this was gonna be their last album before a tour with Deftones and a hiatus that lasted for a while until Tim came back (while Thomas had a brief stint in Chiodos and created Just Like Vinyl and PUSHOVER w/ Kurt Travis. Needless to say, I love the TFOT still. They were my gateway drug to post-hardcore and lead me down a pipe towards my favorite band now Hail the Sun!
TLDR: I disagree with my old comment, ITUE is a good album!
@@curtis7706I really didn’t like much of their stuff besides FCPREMIX but giving them some time they’ve become one of my top 3 bands right now
a really good song on a really mid album, still Love TFOT.
This album isn’t mid but alright…
Dude, wtf?! The whole album could just be Thomas playing guitar with no other instruments or vocals and I still would NEVER consider anything they've made as "mid". You might want to pack a suitcase and take a few vacation days off of work because you are for sure trippin', lol...
@@ALittleSpareChang 2yrs late, I've changed my opinion bruh.
TFOT doesnt have mid albums, I used to only like Doppleganger and select songs. I've heard everything, and still like the S/T, then Manipulator, then Ghostships.
At least asked if I changed opinions or something. Weird ash for thinking people cant grow up. Legit was 17 when I said that, and I'm 20 now.
@@not2mportant.797 lol I was only being borderline serious bro haha they are sick but I thought the somewhat sarcastic comment about needing luggage since you were tripping might have given it away lol you know, cause when people go on trips they bring suitcases and luggage lol
I'll see myself out, that joke was filler material. I swear I am not gonna open my next performance with it
